  • Hey everyone! Welcome back to another tutorial! (I think I’m getting better with the uploads 😅). If you been here before, welcome back! 🫶 If this is your first time here, welcome and thank you for watching! 💕In this video, I’ll be showing you how I created yarn Christmas trees with very inexpensive supplies. Hope you enjoy! 🤗

    I did this with jute twine and thinned Elmer’s glue that I had in my stash. My first one was wonky so I stuffed it with plastic grocery bags. Plus they store well stuffed. Thanks for the basic idea.

    The trees are beautiful (even the one that had gaps in the yard). Such a smart idea to wrap the tree forms in plastic wrap so they can be reused! Loved this video.

    how hard are the trees when they are done.? we tried it but they are not hard /flimsy ?

      I’m having the same issue. Wondering if I added too much water to the mp. I’m going to try another coat of straight mod podge and see if that helps.

    Does this work if all you can find is foam cones?

    • @Homegoodiys
      @Homegoodiys  Год назад +3

      Yes, I see why not 😊. I believe any kind of “tree” shaped mold will work, as long as you have the other components- plastic wrap, yarn, mod podge etc

    • @cheritaealy8746
      @cheritaealy8746 Год назад

      Never used mod podge dies it dry white or clear I know thats a silly question since it's white but wondering if it's more like a glue appearance once dried if that makes sense

  • @user-vm3vm9qu2c
    @user-vm3vm9qu2c 7 месяцев назад

    Not sturdy. Did you use a specific yarn.? Would glue work better? And twine?
