Alaska Zoo's 'Feast for the Beast'!

  • Jack Hanna was the guest of honor at the Alaska Zoo's major fund raiser of the year.
    Jack along with Pat Lampi, zoo director, enjoyed a brief session with the orphaned polar bear currently at the zoo.
    Jack also was able to hold a recent arrival to the zoo, an orphaned river otter from Craig, Alaska.

    Oh my goodness! She is so cute!!!!! I was going "Awwwww" the whole time! I love how she plays in the snow bucket! So cute!!!!

    this was great to see.. Just checked this morning to see if anymore clips of the baby was shown.. Happy to see this .. she is so adorable.. When she moves and I get there because I know I will.. I will try to upload a few clips too so you all can see too.. I know you folks are going to miss her.. she is a smart cub for sure..! you all are taking great care of her.. and I enjoyed the info in the clip too.. thanks

    Went to see her today, She had a total spaz attack on the poly barrel, It was just very cute.

    awww, she looks so fat and sassy, you are obviously taking wonderful care of her. she is so cute playing in the bucket of snow. I read she will be going to the Louisville Zoo. I bet you guys are gonna miss her like crazy :)

    Was she just playing with the man? It looked liked it but i do not know if she was just being protective. Either way she is AWESOME!

    @hugwildlife Her mother was not shot, the cub was abandoned.

    She looks so gorgeous, but she is not a pet or a toy, she is a wild bear cub, should be left as such! And who shot the otters mother?
