If you watch the vod I ak fairly certain you will find people spoiling it, but Alpha said at the end (dunno in this video, but in the vod) that he wasn't looking at chat after an hour in
People were spoiling but the mods were in on it and deleted every spoiler message before alpha could read it
The only thing more unbelievable than Coney not choking at the end is that Alpharad’s editor has not only played Ratatouille before but is a professional speed runner in it.
Idk for some reason that seems perfectly reasonable for an Alpharad editor to me
Actually the community for speedrunning this game is pretty active, i think i watched like 3 videos about it last year, so i dont think its that unbelievable
And also doesn't know 90% of the game all the while
1:19 (Im gonna Nerdge here) This is actually one of the dumbest oversights in any game. Upon starting level four you can essentially jump up a table and enter the loading zone for the final level... which they just left fully in level four... for some reason...
It's one of the funniest skips I've seen in a game. I thought that area was just the hub where you get to level 4 from high up somewhere but in retrospect I might have been wrong about that
Its used later on to return to the slide just for 100% collectible purposes but it's still very silly
what fucked me up even more than coney looking progressively more disheveled throughout the run is how well he actually sold that lie, considering he's usually pretty straightforward
watching a lot of other people who lie really well and basically for sport, that genuinely got me
Coney's hair got excessively more floofed out and crazed the harder the game got lmao

YES! I loved this game as a kid, I played it on PC with my brother, 100 percented it a few times. First time we played it though we spent hours in the tutorial trying to climb that first net because the dialogue box said to use the "context button" which was the G key. Our dad had to figure that one out. I don't have an amazing time in this but I have also done a couple speedruns.
How is there a 3hr skip if the entire game took 2 hours?

Actually, I HAVE played this game. Multiple times through on this exact version as a kid and I've even played the PS2 version.
I've also played the Madagascar game many times through on GC and I also played the PS2 version.
The ending of this video is one of the greatest moments in RUclips history.
i played this game as a kid and ill admit i kind of loved it nostalgia is a crazy thing.
If you want to take it up a notch, you should do a Disney movie Gamecube anthology run (every Disney move game on the Gamecube, back to back)

As someone who has speedrun this game my enjoyment watching Coney is immense.
some of the sound effects sounded similar to me and it was really bothering me until i realized they're the same ones as used in the WALL-E game for windows i had as a kid :))
i recently replayed it cuz i found the disc got it working on my laptop with an external disc drive, its a weirdly fun game but that could be bias from nostalgia lol
