The ones built on mountains and cliffs fascinate me the most. They almost look like they grew out of the land. I can't imagine the construction of these!
Chateau de Chambord was one of my favorites of all the castles I’ve seen in France. Alhambra was my favorite in Spain and you really should’ve added night time footage of it. It’s stunning at night!
Fascinating, I’ve been reading about castles high up in the mountains, must have been breathtaking to see the constellations or look down on the little towns in the valley. You wonder how laborious it must’ve been to build them. They must have long, interesting histories/ghosts/dynasties.
I’ve been to the first one and then one in Austria and one in Switzerland. I am so lucky to have seen many more in my life. I thank my German grand parents in giving me the opportunity to have gone there.
Castles are awesome buildings from History, here in Finland we have many beautiful castles like, Suomenlinna Castle of Turku, Castle of Hame, hämeenlinna, Castle of Olavi and Castle of Savo, Savonlinna. But world's greatest castle would be Transylvania. Castles are so interesting and great buildings from humanity's History. I Have seen Rhode's old City's Castle and Castle of Turku on My own. Maybe sometime we'll found King Arthur's and circle table's Knights Castle. 🏰
A good selection of castles, thank you. There are of course many more in the world, so suggest the title should have been 15 stunning castles in the world. Have visited some of these. Pena castle and Neuschwanstein are magnificent. Hluboká Castle in the Czech Republic is magnificent too. However, it is all a matter of taste. For me, Highclere house is not particularly remarkable and is if anything an ugly austere edifice, lacking both majesty and beauty. Arguably a candidate for the finest castle in the world is probably Windsor.
I think he tried to be fair and represent every country in Europe, except for the one in Japan which doesn't really count because it has been completely rebuilt with elevators.
dunno but the list basically about British isles, and a bit of France and Spain- with only one German, one Austrian, one Romanian and one Japanese castle compared to dunno at least 4 British ones with like France and Spain 2 each. In Germany alone, not to mention states around it, like Belgium, Czechia, Poland, Switzerland there are literally thousands of castles, then theres whole Ukraine and Russia( sorry but 19th century summer residence isn't castle by any stretch of imagination otherwise every suburban 2garage house with attic room with pointed roof must be one too) and Middle East and China and India etc. So I find it hard to believe that like half of the most stunning castles just happen to be located on British isles, its way more likely the person making the list been from English speaking country and too lazy to just open google to do the most basic research for vid of their chosen topic.

In Japan, I think Himeji Castle is more valuable than Osaka Castle.

Please have the Pfalzgrafenstein in the next one.
Magnificient architecture.
I was searching for castle images.
U gave a video... Most of them were unseen before. Thanx for sharing.
I love the Swallow's Nest in Crimea because it's built into a cliff right on the water. Edit: Yayyyyy it got a mention in the video!!!!
It's also not gigantic so I wouldn't need a staff of workers. It could easily house my husband and myself.
Love love this

Would like this video better if there was a tour through each castle. Even if it was a fast tour.
Awesome compilation, but you sadly and badly missed the ones in my country, India. You will end up doing a top 5 on them 😅
What a beautiful place . These gorgeous places are a treat to all of us❤
Neuschwanstein and chambor last? are you kidding me?
Most aren't even castles; but hey, who cares about historical accuracy. It's all about the views.
Show us yours then.
@@sugaralyI think he’s meaning that they aren’t actually classed as castles most of these are chateaus
Might as well include the White House
And, who cares whatever rubbish you bark 🖕

No better narrator than Charlie Sheen
Curious: What's up with Scaligero Castle entry? It looks like 2 different locations were used for the visuals. Is that correct?
I would love to see the castles in Ireland, Scotland and Downton Abbey

There is an important distinction between castles and manors and palaces and such that is missed here.
If you ever come to Japan, I would rather see Himeji Castle in the neighboring prefecture than Osaka Castle. From Japanese.
Charlie Sheen?
i bought a ruined castle and i'm in the process of restoring it ❤😍🏰 🐎 ⚔ 👑 📸 🏰 🐎 ⚔ 👑 🏰😍❤

Right, and the German pick is Neuschwanstein of course, which is a 19th century Disney version of authentic castles.
Scots not Scottish
Moorish architecture 🤣 😂 💀 they trying hard bruh 🤣
Malbork eats them all ;))))
