I’m always blown away when I see old castles built way up on a hill or cliff. I can’t imagine how hard it must have been for the laborers to get everything they needed up there. 😮 Next can you do one of these videos comparing the inside of 15 castles?
Bad choice of portraits at 7:15. If you're talking about Carlos III of Navarre in the 14th century, do not use the portrait of Carlos III of Spain from the 18th.
Pena Castle is a rather ornate, beautiful and whimsical complex . In addition to it being in the mountains, it also has excellent views from most of its exterior walls and windows of the Atlantic coastline. Considering how Portugal had become a world power via trade, diplomacy and, yes, warfare with territories on three continents at one time, this was a point of pride to the Portuguese monarchs and people!
00:35 The Palácio da Pena is beautifully described as a fairy tale masterpiece, blending Gothic, Moorish, and Renaissance styles, highlighting its rich history and UNESCO recognition.
Yeah - I've stopped clicking on ANY video of theirs (or anyone's) who use that horseshit AI b.s. to generate those crappy images instead of REAL images - from REAL content.

Vianden Castle was used as the setting in the Canadian/French/Luxemburg TV series of Dracula back in the 1990-1991.

Makes video about world's most elaborate castles.
Doesn't show interiors.
I'm surprised that the Neuschwanstein wasn't on the list.
I agree, but I also feel that the Chateaux of Chambord and Chenonceau should be here.
It's just the fairytale notion of a nut in the 1800's .
Casa Loma (Toronto) should be on this list? Many on this list are Not really Castles but are simply Estates
Casa Loma in Toronto is considered a castle.
