This meta's not looking so good for me if I get into the higher ranks. Took a bit of a break after the anniversary. Seeing Earth everywhere, and these vids make it seem like Gyaos is encouraging a rush meta with tons of small units. Guess I'll wait to see how things shift.
Yeah to be honest, this has to be one of the most chaotic meta’s thus far. Just because, last season we just got a game changing Destoroyah buff, and now we get a massive Earth buff. I would highly recommend sticking with Destoroyah in your team, he’ll easily be the power house for your team at almost any level, and rank. Honestly, Gyaos can be shut down pretty easily when you have your trusty old 4th Angle on hand. Keep up the grind Christopher, you got this! 💪
@ComicsGBL I'll slot Destroyah on my team. Been playing with Gamera, but as much as I love my favorite giant turtle, may have to bench him for some more competitive units. Like his anti-air, though. Saw him lock down Leo a few times during my matches and during the course of this vid. That's valuable, at least.
The truth is that Gyaos is a very fun piece to use and also a versatile, useful and quite unique unit among other spam-type pieces due to its ability to increase its troops the more it is placed on the battlefield, although the first 2 cycles of Gyaos are quite weak and feel like a bad investment for the cost of 4, from the third cycle onwards their value improves significantly and makes them a threat if you do not have at least one attack piece in the area, in addition to that I liked that between large and small Gyaos there are differences between range, HP and damage. However, I feel that the Gyaos have a difficult time entering the meta comfortably, given that there are many units with area damage that counter them, but regardless of that, whether they are meta or not, the fact is that Gyaos is a Quite a good support piece and allows you to create decks where these can fit. Yeah, Gyaos has that instant resemblance of Dorats. But with some actual range so that’s really cool. Love the uniqueness they create when playing, especially when you have the opportunity to spam the map for 4 cost. They feel nicely balanced since like you said they literally can die to almost anything. I appreciate you Sayago 🤙
First! Yeah! Gyaos! The are actually first guys who can after death and putting them, they can reproduce. They like Kamacuras Swarm and Dedtoroyah (Larva), but more interesting for 4 costs. Hmm... I really like how gyaos plays very fun and unique and the 4/5 he's drop he's a nightmare he's basically d larva and dorats on steroids
