    This draft didn't have major impact players. However, Ran drafted players that had one thing in common. They were all highly successful college players. Especially this pass season. We needed talent at all positions we drafted at. Plus, versatility was key with these players as well as physicality. Let's coach em up now!!!

    I think the draft is B-ish… I don’t think they hit “grand slams” but I don’t think there’s any strikeouts per se. Time will only tell whether we have busts… I gotta have faith in the new regime until otherwise….

    • @TwoTacks-jg7vh
      @TwoTacks-jg7vh Месяц назад

      They drafted on potential, aka a hunch, a projection of someones fantasy. Its how we got willis and the 9ers got lance. Drafting based on floor is hard enough. Hopefully rans tenure is a success, but i highly doubt it and if it goes bad, hopefully he is out the door at the end of the year. I am thoroughly unimpressed. They are talking about making a 4th round nobody the leader of an nfl defense as a rookie. The suggestion is insulting.

    I’ll give it a B+.
    Not worried about Latham playing RT at Bama when he played LT in high school and was hybrid at Bama.
    Dude will be fine and we can find WRs to bolster that room. The issue wasn’t the talent on the outside it was the constant pressure put QBs were under every drop back.
    I think Ran did what was needed and now it’s time for the coaches to coach and develop.

    Missing Alt sucked, drafting Sweat was jarringly bad, Gray and Brownlee were good picks. But the Wr room is one injury away from NWI starting and the OL needs a future at RG, a starting RT and play quality depth.
    Love what Ran has done so far but this draft being his biggest task yet he seemed unprepared. I mean said he took Sweat 3 rounds too early because Ladd and Ricky went? That’s insane. Also never added a third round or extra top 100 picks despite taking guys at 7 and 38 you could have easily gotten picks later
    Deepest Wr/OL class in living memory and you over draft a RT to play LT, similar to last years over draft of a LT to play LG then don’t add a contributing wr or any OL/Wr depth. Just insanely incompetent. Ran needs Latham, Sweat and Ridley to have all pro careers here or he’s in trouble

      How is Sweat bad? Guy is massive and can beat single blocking. Teams will not run up the gut against us. The available players at other positions weren't great either. 2 WR we might have taken went before our pick. You guys talk like the kid is a pile of manure which is damn stupid (top rated DT in college per PFF) and don't have a clue what value a guy like that will have. Latham might have been their choice over Alt and making Alt some kind of God is ridiculous. Latham has twice his anchor and playing next to Skor means we can run there if we want.

    lol this regime want be here long. Pick 7 need a left tackle……..draft a right! Second round pick has pending legal charges! Spending lots of money in free agency almost never works out. You build through the draft and Ran has had terrible draft classes. I’m amazed at how much of a pass he gets for last years terrible draft class! He has 2-3 more years tops and it will take many years to dig out of this hole!

    • @Ferrarix777
      @Ferrarix777 Месяц назад

      Our first 3 were solid picks last year and have shown a lot of potential. 5-7 look ok and might be contributors. If you want to look at bad drafts look at 2022-2020.
      This draft has a lot of potential and scheme foreshadowing. JC at worst will end up as a pro bowl guard. Sweat will be a great relief for Jeff. Cedric has potential to be our #1 LB and quarterback for our defense. Our 5-7 guys are solid scheme fits and developmental prospects. Not a bad draft. It’s getting a lot of shit for JC not playing left Tackle in college and for Sweat’s DUI. On film, these guys are all solid picks. Allow them to develop and if some of them aren’t great so be it. It is the nature of the move from college to the pros.
