Brad and Brian continue their journey around the Phoenix Valley area, and drop in for an afternoon at Matt and Debbie Hay’s place to visit with a Pro Street legend… and talk about the car with Matt, too.
Brian and Matt took some time to sit in front of the legendary Pro Street T-bird (which has seen not only a second life following a full restoration, but also having starred in a Doritos commercial with the Backstreet Boys and having been immortalized as a scale plastic model kit) and talk cars, hot rod influences and another legend, Carroll Shelby.
Talk runs the gamut from Shelby’s Turbine Car to owning a Lamborghini Countach to street freaks and Indy cars, too! We discuss old Mustangs, the ’79 that got away, and gutting a then-new Oldsmobile Ciera to make street machine history. And just when you think you’ve heard it all, Matt tells the tale of filling in for Chance the Rapper.
Yes. You read that correctly.
Oh, and did we mention that he has an Indy car in his garage? We drove it around, and then promptly broke it, too. You won’t see THAT happen on some other channels.

This is so awesome, talk about hanging out with a Legend. Would love to see that car in person one day. I just bough a model kit of that car and plan to start building it soon. Along with another Pro Street Camaro from those years that I plan to replicate.
