I had completely forgotten this bowling game before you show it. Great game ! Army moves ... really cool ! The second episode was great too !! There was a lot of "3D isométrique" game on CPC :-) Bob winner ... Very good with his graphics in "Mode 0" high definition :-) Bombjack a great arcade classic !! Boulder dash was very fun too. Cauldron II was too hard for me :-/ Eden blues ... you can finish the game escaping or making love to a women (boss of the jail's wife i think) lol Galivan was cool too... I completly forgotten that game too :-D Ghost and Goblins was very very hard on CPC. Even more that in arcade i think :-/ Green Beret was very very good. He have another name in US... don't remember... Lol Highlander ! I didn't know that game but it seem cool :-) Ikari warriors, great arcade classic too. International Karate was great ! You can win a round with one hit :-) Kung fu Master a great classic too. "Spartan X" in japan. Rambo was very hard. Never succed to play a long time before the game over. Saboteur was damn good. Very easy once you know how to finish it. Sapiens was hard when you don't know what to do like me X-D Spindizzy was great ! The great escape was so cool too !! I never succed to finish that one :-( The way of the exploding fist was nice. I played a lot with it too. Winter games was one of my favorite game. I was really good at it :-) Xevious was a great port from the arcade game. A looooooot of great game in this video ! Thanks a lot to share it !!
Gosh i miss those days, i live in Australia and the great Amstrad CPC464 with a green was mine at The age of 17, bought it with my own money, and carried the monitor box and amstrad box taped together on a bus home. I didn't care that the C64 had hardware sprites and was almost always smoother... We had hindsight... A real disc operating system. A cassette deck that you didn't need to fiddle with a volume knob. And if somebody broke in, you could brutally beat the living breath out of him with that Grey, green, blue & red behemoth of a device we called a computer.
These 10 second previews really helped me in finding a few games that I remember we had back in the day. Are there plans to cover the years after 1986 as well? Otherwise I have to look up the rest individually via the Wikipedia list which is enormous.
