Soooo many games released that year … could have done with this RUclips video back in ‘88 … instead I had to rely on Amstrad Action and the cover-art and backs of the Mastertronics / CodeMaster games my local newsagents used to stock 😂 … I had one or two of those games, particularly Empire Strikes Back 😎
The CPC seems to be kind of mixture between the amiga (colourful /high resoluted graphics in med and high res, powerfull and strong display colurs (instead of the c64 typical pastel style), its stereo sound) and the zx spectrum (some times monochrome, often shapes with borders instead of sprites, no hardware scrolling)... For sure the best z80a based system, I think... Although I love the Speccy and MSX, too. Only the SID sound with analog filters and the perfect hardware scrolling made the c64 a competitor, maybe also the option to mix multicolour backgrounds with hires sprites and vice versa, weren´t them?
Je les encore se amstrad cpc 6128 avec le bouquin et si ta le temps tu peux installer et jouer à des jeux sinon les 💾 sont morte plus rien dessus sa c'est effacer pourquoi je c'est pas
There are some real gems here! Many of the French games look especially amazing.

Massive amount of games in 1988 😳
Crazy indeed 😮 lot of classics and quality
I think Target Renegade was our most played game.
1:32 this A Peasants Tale looks very similar to Storm - Una's Lair (1986)
ATF! Amazing game!
Hmm... just to be picky... DIZZY (I'm pretty sure) was released in 1987!
It was a great little adventure game, though! ^_^
Mutant zone fue el último juego que me compre
