University of Southampton - 100 Big Ideas 2021

Have an idea that you think has potential? Maybe an innovative new product or service? How about a new way of tackling an issue that matters to you? Maybe through your studies you have proposed a solution to a problem that you could share? Take the first step in exploring your idea by submitting it to 100 BIG IDEAS.
The top 100 ideas will win £100 each in recognition of your ingenuity, with one aspiring, creative, and ambitious student taking home the grand prize of £500. Not only that, if you have an idea that could be a business and would like to develop it further, we will help guide you through the steps to make it a reality.
If you are studying at The University of Southampton this competition is open to you, no matter your subject area or your year of study - we want to encourage you to think BIG!
Within the application process there is both a public and private summary allowing you to be selective about the information that is publicly shared. This opportunity is brought to you by the University of Southampton’s Student Enterprise Team, who exist to support all students from across the University in developing their enterprising and entrepreneurial skills.
Applications will open over Welcome Weekend, starting Saturday 25 September, and close at midnight on Sunday 24 October.
