- Jenelle Evans' son Jace is looking so grown up! The "Teen Mom" alum took to her Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate her eldest son's 14th birthday, captioning the post: "14 YEARS OLD EVERYONE! #HappyBirthday to Jace! You're growing into a such polite young man. I'm happy as long as you're happy! @jace_vahn." The celebration comes just a few months after Jenelle, whose journey with Jace has been followed ever since she first appeared on MTV's "16 and Pregnant" in 2010, confirmed she had regained custody of Jace from her mom, Barbara Evans. She marked the major milestone on her Instagram in an emotional video. "#MyHappyEnding , ITS OFFICIAL! Thanks everyone for the support! Words can't describe how happy i truly am. Our family is complete now! Thank you mom," she captioned the post. In addition to being mom to Jace, whose father is her ex Andrew Lewis, Jenelle shares 9-year-old son Kaiser with ex Nathan Griffith and 6-year-old daughter Ensley with her husband David Eason.

It's crazy to watch this and then know in the near future he would run away MULTIPLE times due to him not feeling loved and safe in the environment with his mom and his mom's psycho bf. (Notice I didn't call him stepfather. I couldn't do that do Jace who already been through a lot. 💙 )

@@sherrykuntzi3153 he ran away three different times because her husband was abusing him. Of course she did nothing about it and she would defend the husband instead of her own son. Now he is under CPS custody and is not allowed to have contact with her at all unless he wants to. The worst thing she could have done, was take jace away from his grandmother because now look where he's at and what he has gone through.

@@snicksabea She may not be the ideal example but keep in mind she's raised him by herself all these years. Things aren't perfect but I think she's done a good job considering the situation. I just think he was better off staying with her. Jace graduating high school and her seeing him off to college would have seriously been an amazing thing to see.

Janelle always said "you wont give me my son!" No honey, the courts wont give you your son. Its not up to Barbara. A real mother wouldve had her kid back in weeks, few months tops. 13 years? Then he runs away from your abusive household? FOH..
Honestly, I think he and those other kids have been through so much trauma. This doesn't solve anything. I hope Jace finds peace in his life from now on. But it's going to take a lot of therapy for him to heal. And it scares me that they are all living with Jenelle's toxic husband.

The worst thing MTV ever did was give these people a platform. Plenty of people have kids young and raise them like normal people aka without abuse. This kid and the others on the show were almost set up for failure. Who could've seen that coming when someone's livelihood depends on drama?
