Who else thinks that Sarah is the most fashionable and beautiful mechanic on RUclips 😘😄
ditto
victorpuiatti why should you wear good clothes if you're working on cars ? (A lingerie version would be awesome do 😆👍🏻)
Just thinking that. Well said.
Please take the time to smell the roses, so to speak. Don't let this channel turn into a grind, I watch because I enjoy your content, not how often you upload it.
This is why I love Mishimoto radiators. They increase the cooling capacity and efficiency and the brackets all match up with the OEM mounts for the vehicle
OMG the reinforced cut-off wheels are SOOO much better. I remember the first time I used one it was like a revolution in actually being able to cut anything.
Hey, congrats on 10M views for the channel BTW! TubeBuddy tipped me off. That's awesome!
The troubles when dealing with 20 year old plastic that has gone through countless heat cycles.
You can still make the car perfect without every piece being new, replace what's necessary and what makes sense while you're doing those necessary repairs, you are making progress, and doing it right.
That little smile at 'set it on fire' was perfectly evil!
Hi Sarah, just started watching project binky, as a brit I am laughing myself to tears as this is so British engineering and old school piss take comedy. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💡💥
Binky rocks!
Project binky in the top 5, deffo ..... :-)
Soooo glad I’ve found your RUclips 😍 inspirational lady ♥️
Gotta love the “big hammer” methodology of fixing things!!!
On tools like your Dremel, I find they cool off better if you keep them spinning on a lower speed with no load on it, to keep the internal fan spinning and moving air across the motor. Similar to an Automatic Transmission getting too hot, Neutral and engine running (as long as there's fluid!) to push the fluid through the cooler instead of letting it heatsoak in the case. Glad it started spinning for you again.
The motto of this video is a message to all great mechanics. When it doesn't work just beat on it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hi Sarah, Have you ever used a vacuum fill for the radiator fluid? The one I used is called "AirLift Vaccum Radiator Fill". Those things are awesome and will let you know if you have any leaks before you fill. Then when you do fill, no air! Might make your life a bit easier with the radiator fill. What a project... Totally feel your frustration!
2022 rewatch in which we see Sarah getting lots of love in mail time. Yay.
At times it may not seem like it but you are winning. 😊
I was super psyched to see the BOM tee! It makes me happy that you like them too!
I always enjoy these videos so much. And that was a really cool Mail time.
I admire your perseverance, well done for sticking at it, and not setting fire to it.
Take your time - the TT will be ready when it's ready to be ready 👍
great job on that modified radiator bracket. painting it black makes it look like a factory piece. there's so much cool stuff in this car that most people will never see; i'm glad we have these videos to enjoy your homemade engineering
Got to say that coolant hose looked like Dr Seuss's chimney !
New sub from Tucson- you need a key ring merch that says “yea buddy” instead of Remove before flight. 👍
Sarah, watching your videos makes me look at old cars, TT's, Miata and some old MGs. Oh I feel I am getting the bug!!
Sarah I have been watching all the content on your channel and I have to say your content is 100% better than in the beginning, I also find myself using your sayings lately. I gave my Z71 the beans earlier. My kids thought I was nuts. Great work keep the content coming.
Awesome job Sarah....and video too. That is the way it always goes....start one pretty straight forward project and it turns into 4 or 5 more with half of those being a pain in the ass. Thanks for always staying positive and for presenting great detail.
watching you is entertaining and educational. love your shows. Your more interesting in infinite ways than any subject. I like how you keep it clean under the hood. Thanks for sharing.
Sarah is great. I enjoy watching her videos so much!!
The channel is new to me, loveyour quick wit and automobile acumen. You rock.
I do like that special effects and camera magic! Little floating balls of light during the timelapse were a great addition, reminds me of your old water flowing over the lens while washing cars effects. Great camera work and editing here!
Slow and steady progress Sarah. We've all been there with the 'simple' projects that evolve...
Sarah, I love your channel. You are a pretty darn good mechanic for sure, a stunning beauty, and a voice that is just transcendental. I always look forward to your videos. They are interesting, entertaining, and relaxing at the same time. Please don't stop keeping them coming. I am a DIY weekend warrior up in Prescott, and I learn a lot from you.
Thank you for all of your hard work. You make me smile.
Your channel has been awesome I think I have learned more about cars from this channel then any other RUclips channel. You make fun and informative
this is late, but I dont know why am not surprised that you watch project Binky too. I started watching this TT project yesterdy from the beginning, and I have watched 34 episodes ! ; that is how I have spent my Sunday. I live in Kenya and have recently bought a 2003 TT that I am inspired to work on by myself. Its laso going to be my Daily. Name is Steve and I an watching all the way from Kenya
Cooling systems in TT's are a hassle. I admire your effort. It's worth it. Carry on we all root for you! Content is THE BEST on Audi TT's. I'm just finishing up on a 2003 1.8 coupe. Now you
Have me wanting that cooling system.
Love Your "Special Effects...Camera Magic on Your Legs!" Great Video!
Just got myself a 2002 to roadster to play with , watching your channel h love me make my decision 🙏 thanks , il ready has stage 2 so now I’m playing with everything else 😃
I star following project binky because of you. They are really really cool, I strongly recommend to everyone to follow them.
Camera magic...anytime the camera focuses on this clever lady...
Sarah, you're hilarious 🙂 I've been binge watching you're channel all day👌
Love what you’ve done to this car. Keep making sweet content
Yes you got those two guys off. Great line. You rock Sarah
Love your channel, you do great work especially by yourself.Stop being so critical of yourself, the haters just hate because they can't do what you can.It is great to see you being a role model for people in this day and age where most people don't even know how to check their own oil.Keep up the great work and make sure you take time each week for yourself, everyone needs a day off every week.
Best of luck Sarah, you got this!
That’s cool you’re Ancestors are from Canada so are mine. Love your Videos and can’t say that enough and can’t stay enough how much of a inspiration you is
Project will never end.
your doing a great job keep up the good work. we all have bad days working on our cars
On the Dremel tool, pull out and check the motor bushings, the spring wire they’re attached to have a tendency to burn up.
Thank you sarah i do appreciate everything you do for me i have lot's of love for you
Wish I. Could work on my truck as calmly as you.
You’re a treat to watch.
No worries extending to a 3rd video Sarah, you made good progress . Gotta pace yourself, it's a marathon not a sprint.
.
Hi Sarah, love the channel. All of those tools have a thermal shut off. I have a dremel too and it constantly shuts down from over heat. I bought a Milwaukee version that works so much better and longer and uses the same batteries as the drill motors.
Thanks for the Percussive Maintenance tips ⚒
Oh Hell Yea!! Sarah dear, we do NOT need an apology for "Not finishing such and such project.....", we can see that you work incredibly hard and long hours. I for one, honestly don't care how many vids it takes to "finish" a project, hey, you can say its reality based! You put up excellent content, and you are a pleasure to watch, and it doesn't hurt that you ARE easy......... on the eyes [get it, see what i did there?] Keep pluggin away GF, you will get it done...........eventually ;-) Would Somebody PLEASE get her an electric cut off wheel...........fer gawd sakes..........this dremel thingy aint cuttin it honey ;-p
I couldn't of said it better myself...... :-)
editing on point, nice job
Wow that makes replacing the radiator and fans on my DeLorean look easy! You could really do with a solid bench to mount that vice, don’t want to see a hurt Sarah.
Keep up the good work Sarah. BTW I've bin following projekt binky from Day 1. Bad obsession !
German cars will test your will to succeed but it is worth the effort. I own a twin turbo beamer that loves parts and attention so much so that I have no hair left from the stress, but when I hit that throttle the 400 hp comes to life and it puts a smile on my face and the 420 ft lbs of torque @ 2000 rpm feels pretty good. Great content nice video
"Before I get the urge to push the car out in the driveway and set it on fire".
Aptly describes how I feel when a project goes south when it's almost done.
I like your stuff Sarah, keep it coming. Entertainment that makes me laugh, is informative and most interesting in content.
TT (aka Bad Chicken) should be Happy that you are working on him I would of pushed it out on the drive a long time ago and set on fire your poor arms . I admire you hanging in there Sarah You Go Girl !
Brilliant video. Thank you 🙏
That Adams product is pretty good. Especially Adam polish VRT
Really appreciate your uploads ;)
project binky is awsome !! and the gremlins too !
I love it when you say "Yeah Buddy"
I really like Adam polishes products I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
Was having a little trouble concentrating on some of the lower radiator work. Fitness was distracting. 😎 I watched the latest video Bad Obsession posted just before I watched yours. That is so cool you got that T-shirt from them. Sarah, I'm sorry for your frustrations. Wish I could do more but reaching out with virtual hug to hopefully help your spirits. 🙅♂️ Just keep doing what you're doing. Projects are like that but you will eventually be rewarded.
Every episode you make me laugh,Thanks!
If ECS recommended that radiator and hoses, they really should have come with instructions on what needs to be modified for correct fitment, or suggested new hose fittings/o-rings along with the hoses. You got it handled without much trouble, and people can now reference your efforts, but a lot of people doing this themselves might not be able to make it work as well.
I do really like ECS, they have probably the best catalog out there with multiple pictures of a ton of their inventory(extremely useful, and I have access to most manufacturer original parts catalogs) and generally great customer service, but this can't be the first time that they've sold those parts for this application.
Enjoyed the video humor. You made me laugh with you unusual but entertaining comments.
Hi Sarah. If you have no slow speed on your fans the resister built inside the fans is dead so you will still need to replace the fans I'm afraid. There is a fix online somewhere to replace the resisters but changing the fans is easier.
Keep up the great videos
Rob Taylor
Sarah's Low Speed functions when jumped, just not controlled properly, she'll get it sorted out soon.
10 seconds in I gave it a like. Your Aussie accent is priceless.
Thank you Sarah for your videos I really love them an you
Don't push yourself too much because I can wait as long as I have a happy Sarah to entertain me!
This was a ;cheekey' video and all great fun with the fun puns
Sarah, a suggestion you might consider when working on your cars. It helps protect your arms when you have to go into areas with your arms where other car parts may scratch or cut them (your arms). I cut off old sleeves from a shirt I don’t wear anymore and I liked sleeves that were button down with a tight fit so it wouldn’t slip up from a snag. I cut them off because I was usually doing the work in warm weather and didn’t want the extra warmth from wearing the full shirt. You may not have any throw away shirts that have buttons so you could consider a store that re-sells clothing.
I lol’ed on this one. Great production.
Some times with projects its all ways one problem after another. Just keep positive and it will get done. Keep up the good work and if your ever out in portland oregon give me a shout out and i will show you my mk4 jetta and every thing i have done to it.
On it like a car bonet.dont we all get to the place where we want to set them on fire even on my motorcycle. Loving the work Sarah
I hope sarah is feeling better about that I remember last time seeing a beat up sarah so I hope this is looking up at least 😊😊
Glad you liked the 3D printed lithophanes Sarah, but you have to put a light source (sunlight works good to) behind the curved prints and then a very detailed image will appear :)
Hey Sarah- thanks for another video. Making progress on cooling the TT and it's slow, I know, but we don't mind. It would be perfectly acceptable to do a wide shot with some time lapse during those times when you can't get in close to film what's happening. Just a thought. Love from Michigan!
Haha i was not expecting that to fix the dremmel haha!! Good job! But i should look into those reinforced wheels you got cuz i know your pain of going through them cutting metal on projects
you are a true pro in automotive stuff and how the hell were you running around in snow the other day and today your strolling around teeter tott in shorts hahahahaha im from Canada and were running around like eskimos , keep up the awesome work
Love your videos
Your videos are fun and instructive, Sarah. You’ve convinced me that I should never consider an Audi project car. 😬 I've done plenty of work on older VWs without so dang many sensors and they've had enough WTF design for me. The newer Audi/VW designs seem impossibly packed in and full of wonky wiring and too many sensors.
I have a extra set of aluminum, there is 5 pieces if you want them. The coolant flange, the piece you bought, the thermostat housing and other pipes.
Need to get you set up with Air tools! Love how thorough you are!
David Diaz Nah, brushless DC is the way to go!
Very true!!
Knowing stuff , that title is even more intriguing
Ok you can add dermel technician to your resume!!! Awesome job as always
Jody Reedy Lol, I think Aerospace technician if plenty enough as it is 😂
GDay Sarah!
For a second I thought you were doing an Aussie special! Lol!
Project Binky is fantastic! Those guys crack me up, and make some brilliant custom solutions to a very challenging build. Granted, their project has only been about 6 yrs in the making. Ha ha.
bangin' it always works for me
7:41 Cue the mellow work music. Nice.
4:40 Broke the same plastic piece on my MK4 Golf a few years ago. I'd barely touched the bugger and it decided to retire... Feeltrip.
I love it when you can bang things and fix them. Haha I also found out that when "I hurry my butt up," bad things tend to happen.
Sarah, those must be your two biggest fans... HAHA! Keep up the great work!
Heat gun for hose and plastic disassembly needs.
Ali express Sarah.. all four in alloy for $50 delivered. That includes one for the crankcase breather from memory
Relationships with your cars can be abusive. The crazy part is you kept going back 😉
The Dremel has 2 brushes under the round caps towards the back with Philips heads. They can be removed and cleaned. Better idea. Head to Home Depot and grab a real grinder for $40. Save yourself a lot of frustration in the future. But I admire your resilience. Keep at it girl.
There is a fuse in the handle of the dremel, make sure to check that if it stops
