      As with most things, it's our brains. We know how to make pesticides, herbicides, poisons. Even before science and chemistry, we knew how to steal the poisons from other animals and plants.

    So interesting! I have to flag the art design here as masterful - Giulia Martinelli deserves an award for this video. The snake sequences in particular flowing into chemical binding and DNA strands, just genius.

      Close but to be more specific: "venoms tend to be larger compounds that must be injected to break through skin, while poisons are usually smaller chemicals that can be absorbed" according to The Smithsonian.

    Animation's great as always, but I'm afraid there's a small mistake.
    When the snake finishes coiling in on itself (starting at 3:26), the eye makes a very weird jump to the wrong side of the mouth.

    Endotoxins are also another method,
    The organisms secrete inactive forms of the poison, which once into the prey's body will get activated due to a set of biochemical reactions, hence displaying pathological properties, this process is entoxification, opp. of detoxification

Is it possible that scientists are genetically experimenting to have the blue bottle jellyfish no-longer sting { humans } Or have the blue sea slug { otherwise known as Glaucus atlanticus, or blue dragon to scientists } have no poison against humans { and release them in plague numbers to diminish the population of blue bottle jellyfish } So it's safer to go swimming in hot weather ?
