I completely concur. My first time ever even sitting on a bike was to do a two up ride with a former pro rider at VIR. I have jumped out of planes for a living and I was never even close to that scared.
I've been hooked ever since. I do my second bike track day next month.
Oh so you shot grown men in the face then ?
@@TheInfantry98 lol, on occasion.
riding two up is not compareable imo. you have zero control.
@@cfvgd agreed. You are quite literally just along for the ride.
Where can we find the video of you riding two up with Jack?
I did this with Troy Bayliss at Lakeside on a Panigale. I have never been so scared in my life. That falling feeling is something I’ll never forget. Also, the only thing I learned was that I’m a bloody pussy and cannot ride a bike hahaha.
holy crap thats freakin awesome! Bayliss is the man!
Riding as a passenger is much worse than riding a bike yourself.
I'd be scared having a piggyback by troy lol
Its so weird going from dirt bikes where the trust in the front tire is like 30% to sports bikes where you need to trust the front 100% or else you'll just be slow af
Bro so true
One of the things they say about Gilles Villeneuve was that when the other drivers would move up to the limit is stages he would go over the limit and come back to it. That was what made him so exciting to watch.
' it was not a fast bike ' yeah only a panigale v4r 🤏🤣
cant be that fast w two people on it lmao i like how he also calls it a motogp bike a few times which in a way you could say given the piloting 😂
Not that it really matters, but it’s not a V4R
@@BrewsAndBraapswhere’s the video??!
@@VState60 sorry what do you mean? What video?
@@BrewsAndBraaps the video of him doing the 2-up ride!
Where can I see this video of you riding with Jack?
Needed a ride to work once. Buddy who raced nationally back in the day picked me up on his gsxr 1k. Never again bro. Almost fell off the back like 3 times. Dude carried a wheely up on the on ramp to like 115. FML
Man you gotta convince Jack to do a national in the US. I'm sure KTM could organise it
I really wanna see jack miller podium moto gp
He has already.

Really laughing at this, pretty good
Turn 1 at the bend is an interesting one as you need to wipe a lot of speed off fast, but turn 17 is the one that has done me in the most.
That's because most new riders think that it is 90 deg. It's actually 135 deg. Really late apex is required.
I always could tell when the bike is started to move Around little to much that’s far as I’m going! And usually I bring it down just a little after it moves some! I’m a big heavy rider so never had the front go out just the back. Now some bikes you can drift around a curve some you can’t! Some are faster just going as straight as possible and just getting back on the throttle!
The only and real insanity on this planet are the motorcycle riders on the Isle of Man race. I would love to see Cameron Donald, the fastest plumber on Earth on the podcast! Cheers! ☺️
They aren't that fast, they're fearless. When those guys enter actual superbike circuit races, they get left behind.
They are actually a complete joke when they compete on closed racetracks.
@chaseeason6789 Peter Hickman speed trap 200 mphs ≈ 321.87 kmh average speed around 218kmh! That's on a country road , yeah that's not fast at all! 🤡
@TheInfantry98 Yes, because it's called street racing and its quite different!. But what the hell i know about racing right!? BTW Peter Hickman was no joke at the Macau Grand Prix in 2023! 😂🤣😂🤣
Jack is a LEGIT GLADIATOR... Even the other MotoGP riders say he is crazy
The only 🍩 media guy I actually like
Feel. It's what separates the good from the great. The greatest can just feel the edge of adhesion better than the mortals.
Hell ya!
Imagine doing a 2 up ride with taka. You wouldn’t make it one lap
Or any GP Honda.
Oh 😂
As for finding that limit of a bike, obviously pushing the limit tryna be the fastest on track all the time your gonna have a stack every now and then, that’s a given. But learning how to crash gives a confidence boost for lack of better words. But from someone who grew up racing mainly flat track and did a couple seasons in local supermotard and road bike racing. After finding the limit on dirt, tryna find the limit on asphalt to me it felt like the front tyre was screaming at me through the bars as I reached that limit. I’d either stand the bike up a bit while hanging off it further or slightly drag the front brake mid corner and I’d be able to hold my line even tho I’d missed judged and entered that corner slightly too quick…
Does anyone else feel that or even that weird smooth feeling through the bars when you hit the white paint?
Cheers
Absolutely I get that feeling! I just hear the screaming at 12 degrees of lean angle while someone is passing me on the outside at 45*
Lmfaoooo nice bullshit statement
lol @trackdaz is Busch league 😂 priceless
Getting your head over and down is such a mindfuck. I just did a TD weekend and literally worked on nothing but that, and am still nowhere close lmao.
No, dude…you were, just like me, doing it PERFECTLY…all weekend.
And then you, like me, saw the photos…🤦🎉🎉
didn't Keith Code write that new bikes get faster and faster, but new riders are always the same speed 😅
That's interesting. I watched a bunch of champ u videos before I even bought my first bike and they mention this. I started experimenting with this like the second week I owned a bike. It felt a little weird at first but then became pretty second nature. I found that it's pretty essential on a track because it helps me look farther the corner.
That’s a 100 percent right, guys who race in MotoGP almost have to crash in order to find the limit.
not really. they slide with both tires all the time. they can feel the limit most of the time
I find it hilarious that only people who don’t ride are willing to ride 2 up. Bro i know how i ride, i’d never get on the back of someone elses bike 😂
no doubt... motorcycling is a solitary pursuit...
hahahhah That would be a wild ride a trailer/go cart behind a gp bike.
Brother please launch your store. I want that Gypsy Customs Shirt
Miller sounds like the Gilles Villeneuve of Motogp.
Ride in a Rally Car Next !
riding two up is waaaay more scary because you have no control on your own. cant compare it to riding yourself
We always called it, 'nuts to butts', regardless would never, no matter what circumstances, go 2 up on a moto GP
A life fact -> MOTO GP RULES 💪👊
My mate who was older than me used to push the limit of every car or bike he ever drove/rode every single time we were out.He used to clip curbs and sometimes sent cars through hedges.I discovered were the limit was and learned how to feal the revs and feal the grip and where it was going to let go.Riding 2stroke bikes with power bands in the late 90s RG 250 allso was another big learning curve.
Riding on the back of a moto going full clip on a track is the dumbest thing ever.
Is Jeremiah A Guest Or Is This His Podcast?
He's a psycho. hahaha
The interesting thing is, finding the limit in MotoGP changed, curious to see if this addresses it. Marc changed the game when he created the crash recovery maneuver, now it's practiced and done by others. It was always just accepted that if you lost the front at a lean, that was it.
Crash recovery?😂 you mean Almost 100% luck?
You mean a chassis and tire that were specifically developed for his riding style?😂 Honda developed a bike completely around Marquez as well as the Michelin tire for that particular bike and Marquez style as well. If you thought that he was anything special then how come he's not still doing it?😂 it's because other chassis have caught up and the Tire chassis combination were better than Hondas. You'll never see him do what he did before and it's not because of the accident that's just an excuse... stop being a fanboy put down the video games and pull your thumbs out son
Nothing has changed about the limit!! The limit will always be the tyre.
That's not crash recovery that's rider reaction
There comes a point at lean where Marquez and a few!!! others use there elbow and need pads to stay in that lean angle
I small few can feel when it's going to give and that's there reaction
Marquez Acosta Pecco Marini most recently
Lol, learn about the sport first. Everything changed because of electronic aids.
Were you born yesterday? Have you missed the impact of tech in motogp?
@@rider65so much salt, kid. I bet you were pretty annoyed watching MM93 pole & podium this weekend, his third weekend on a bike that was developed entirely around NOT him. 🎉🎉
bro looks like connor McGregor
😂👏👏👏🤣💯✊
Nah bro, you were on one of the fastest bikes in the world. Thats a v4
At the 3 min mark you talk of doing 240 through turn 3. Um Nah! That was turn 5.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I rode two up with a guy....... Thats all i need to hear 😂😂 im out
Seriously
^-Have never piloted a motorcycle in their adult lives -^
Easily. You have a few laps until you feel comfortable, then you just need to do a few maybe 10 laps, every lap, increase your speed by 25mph, until you fall off? There! That’s your limit. So go between that speed @nd your previous good lap, ( before you fell off) and you’ll be fine! Hahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahahaha hahahaha hahahahaha hahahaha hahahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahahaha hahahahahaha hahahahaha hahahaha hahahahaha hahahahahaha hahahaha hahahahaha hahahahahaha hahahaha hahahaha
