I think the players it’s bad for are the ones who just want to play football and might not necessarily enjoy the media spotlight (linemen, defensive backs, etc.) And there is a private camaraderie to a locker room; that chemistry might go down a hair of players aren’t comfortable with being %100 themselves. What Brou said is absolutely true

I agree with Brou, can't see how Hard Knocks would be good for a team football wise. Seems as if it would be extremely distracting, especially for the rookie players.
Especially since the league has literally had to force teams to do it lately, lol. The entire conversation around Hard Knocks after the draft last year was how no team voluntarily wanted to do it. The Jets only did it because they were forced to, meaning even Rodgers' attention seeking self wasn't clamoring for them to do it.
It's absolutely a distraction and something the teams don't really want in the building. Does that mean it'll absolutely be an obstacle for Caleb and negatively impact him? Not at all. But Nick acting like it's just dandy wgen every team in the league would say no if they could speaks volumes.

I disagree, these teams all do their own versions of the show on a smaller scale. 1920 football drive for example w Bears. They show only what they agree to , the players seem to love it. I understand the old school stance , and I've been on that side and was my main concern early in the process w Caleb. But after hearing the man speak for hours , I've changed my mind. I think these guys can handle it, but they better back it up. If they do, it's gonna be fun era
I doubt the coaches love it if no team voluntarily wanted to do it, which reinforces my belief that it is a distraction. I still agree with Brou overall, but I do agree with you that some of the players probably love it. It should definitely make for entertaining content for the fans, too. ☺️

You don't think the bears don't have cameras all over the facility already. They put out their own videos all the time. The only reason a team doesn't want hard knocks is because it isn't their cameras and they don't have total control. That is it.

Our overall team is BETTER than last years. There should be really little reason to be a similar or better year isn't possible... Texans were the most "ah they need more" before making the playoffs and shocking everyone its not insanely crazy to think he could have a good,year..
This has been every single first overall pick for the entirety of the league. You get much more leeway when you get drafted to the worst team in the NFL.

I disagree with Nick and completely agree with Brou on this. Hard Knocks us a hindrance to any team. I don't care whether or not some of the guys enjoy the extra spotlight; it brings way more attention to your team than is necessary. Teams simply do not need the extra distraction.

here’s the deal, the kid can’t throw on schedule. that’s a problem. he can have all the tools to be great and the best supporting cast ever assembled, what he won’t have is time. NFL defenses don’t give you 6 seconds to stand around in the pocket. if he can’t speed up his processing and make the proper read before the top of his drop, he’s gonna be a bust. on one hand everybody acts like oh there’s a learning curve but then also turns around and tells us he’s transcendent and Nick is already putting him in the HOF. can’t have it both ways

I’m a patriots fan but I think it’s a horrible mistake because you are putting so much pressure on a number one Draft pick and you don’t even know if he’s going to be that good in the NFL yet. 90% of the time they are not. Yes he was phenomenal in college, but so many other cubes were especially when he’s like barely 6’1”. Short QB don’t tend to do well in the NFL. If he comes out and has a few bad games to start the season. The media and the pressure it might end up ruining his career.
