  • Emma is having an epic encounter that could overwhelm any divers heart. This grandaddy porcupine puffer has been slowed with age and is nearly blind with cataracts. But the oldster is still happily flapping around the reef, possibly relying on other senses to navigate and survive.
Coincidently, we also shared this same dive with the (oldest) longest married diving couple that we've met so far - scuba diving together since 1980! The two of them were an honor and inspiration to dive with. We need more divers like them to keep raising the bar for the rest of us.
This channel is about the world of aquatic animals and inspiring one another to seek out experiences in nature.

The regulator is just a rental but my mask is made by Seadive, it's called the Oceanways Superview - the pop color contrast underwater is amazing.
