This is why I love this channel, never heard of Skacel before now I find myself kinda loving the man for his shithousery!
Skácel is a great. I met him at the ice hockey in Edinburgh once and he was such a down to earth and nice guy.
I still don't know why no hearts fan ever has learnt how to say his name correctly, it's skácel (skaatsel) and not skačel (skachel)...no 'ch' sound.

I really loved Skacel when he played for Saints- tricky winger with a good eye for goal! Sucks that we were in such a terrible state financially as he could’ve made a huge difference!
good to know! I read a couple of articles and got the impressions Saints fans were maybe a bit indifferent to him.
@@flashbackfootball1367 there are Saints fans who don’t remember him as fondly but I always liked him as he added some decent quality to the attack and was adaptable at playing LB too! Wasn’t the goal machine he was at Hearts but still decent championship player
LEGEND never forget the cup final against Hibs met his father mother and his girlfriend in the boozer before the game. I announced to the pub THIS IS RUDIs DAD. Just about the whole pub dropped to its knees and started bowing clapping n cheering. The family were overwhelmed with the outpouring of love from the, hundreds in the boozer. Grown men woman and children thanking the dad and family they were in tears. I'm sure they'll never forget that day not jus fir the score but FOR love and admiration shown. It was up there for me when I had a few pints with Dave Mckay a few year earlier. Great video great day great man great family. SECTION N will never die. Nawty Bois ftw. 😊👍

Those years having Rudi, was the biggest love story of all time at Tynecastle! Not forgetting George who had the team playing one touch football What if eah?
As a Panathinaikos FC fan i remember his days with our team whilst on loan to us from Marseille. We had relatively big expectations for him to deliver and merge with a very strong Panathinaikos team back then who were in the champions League competition year in year out and had in their pocession the majority of Greek player's who contributed to Greece's success at lifting the Euro 2004 trophy. Unfortunately Rudi didn't live up to expectations in the end and was bang average for us in a team full of quality players, but he did an exceptional job in Scotland for Hearts nevertheless!💪🏾

"irreconcilable differences" in other words Burley was less than impressed with Romanov trying to pick his team for him and tell him how to do his job!
I'd heard Burley was a bit of a boozer so that was a factor. Working for Romanov must have been an absolute nightmare though tbf. Great content btw👍

Classic Hearts getting excited about average players who did nothing. Hearts greatest hero John Robertson is prime example, won nothing but Hearts fans think he’s god. Never has a club celebrated such mediocrity.
