Considering some of the scams I've been aware of since the pandemic, you're a brave man to be bidding on items from Canada.
It seems like a legit company, just a stupid business model. I generally have had a lot of success working with our friends north of the border.

Reserve = retail+10%. I've never won a reserve ebay
I hate reserve prices as well. If a seller has a minimum price in mind, why not just use that as the starting bid?
