Virginia Gregg - she stands out with her acting. Thank you.
My pleasure!
Virginia Gregg really got put on the map with many appearances on Dragnet.
According to IMDb Virginia was a favorite of Jack Webb from when Dragnet was a radio series (before TV). She was also involved in the (Dragnet) motion picture,
She was an accomplished musician and singer before turning to radio drama. She was one of the busiest radio actresses in the field. She supplied the voice of Mrs Bates for all three Psycho movies.
That is some nifty and informative data you posted here. Thanks for that !@@gwenniegirl50
Thanks so much for these. They are really good stories!
Trivia: At the time this episode was produced (1955), Jaime del Valle, the producer of this episode, was Virginia Gregg's husband. Source: IMDB.
Virginia Gregg was a fine actress in all her roles. She was one -Jack Webb's acting troup for both series of Dragnet, and many other series, and movies. Lane Bradford, great supporting actor, usuallly in westerns, and ususally the bad guy, but not always.
What was the ruddy point? So obvious from the beginning as to what happened!
I think Mrs. Olson (Virginia Gregg) may have had to much Folgers coffee...
i keep calling the actress, Mrs. Folgers, even though i KNOW it's Mrs. Olson! 😊
Spoiler:
She carried her purse to commit suicide?
