I have a M9 from Ontario. Just a rock solid piece with a lot of history. I have a copy of the buck master from Ramster. Really fun blade’s. Your collection is awesome.
Look under the m9 front pouch and you will see a feint line designating the no cut off finger line. 201 is a unit number, something to do with reconnaissance and signal unit in USA. There is heaps of pdf from military use manual and patent etc, look and you will find these.
Sheaths although look the same are not, Buckmaster can't fit in m9 sheath, Phrobis orca symbol is on back of sheath below stone. Phrobis were a little office type business and they won the military contract and had Buck make the m9s, Buck did have some with their mark on the right side of blade and also had Phrobis on the left side. These are known as civilian models and were never issued to the military. Phrobis and Buck had legal issues and the rest is history. Phrobis designed the Buckmaster as well.

I am chasing a Ramster. Are they still available on Amazon?
@@marktecher3085 I believe they are. They pop up about twice a year. Awesome video
@@donavantew8278 I'd like to get one and do a side by side with the real Buckmaster
@@marktecher3085 that’s awesome. I definitely would watch that one
Both awesome. I'd like a buck one day

You’re saying the M9 came from surplus?
This one has a military store number written on the scabbard

All Phrobis knives are made by Buck.
