@courtelizz1 Well, if something happens to this chair, please pick up a la-z-boy recliner. La-z-boy has been in my family for years, especially on my dad's side of the family. Soon I will share my story of my old chair. Just giving you a suggestion here if something happens to your chair and you are wanting to get another cozy one. I highly recommend a la-z-boy for you as a backup recliner. This chair sounds so cool though. I never sat in a glider before. best thing about la-z-boy is that you can use both mechanisms independently. example: you can lean back in the chair without having the leg rest up. also you can still lean back while the leg rest is up. not only that, every recliner has a 3 position reclining system, as an 18 ratcheting system, meaning that you can choose to lean the chair back all the way, and make the leg rest elevate all the way to the 18th position to where your head is above your heart. perfect for your legs too, so the blood can flow through them smoothly. I'm considering in getting my own chair. la-z-boy has been in my family for years, and my old chair my grandma gave my uncle, he threw it out back in 2020. so definitely i'm getting my own chair, same color as my old one. fabric recliner. no leather one cause let's face it leather isn't the best. it's cold as you sit in it, it's not that great. also if you get another recliner, pick chenille as your fabric. it's comfortable, so soft like corduroy, those clean lines will invite you in as you sit in that chair. very soft against your skin, it will hug you, the chair will keep you safe. it stays warm too. so let's say a guest of yours relaxes in your next chair, even a chenille la-z-boy recliner, that chair stays warm hours later when that person is out of your chair and you go snuggle up in it after that person gets out of your seat. I'll keep you posted on my chair. Planning on asking my dad to help me buy my recliner later in the fall, or maybe for a christmas gift later this year. But this is a suggestion for you too just in case if your glider recliner goes out. But I'm definitely getting a la-z-boy. perfect chair to go well with my blue throw rug in my room. putting my chair next to my queen size bed. no glider for me. just a rocking recliner. a manual one. i don't want to worry about a power recliner motor burning out. Lol. I wish youtube can allow me to attach an image, so i can post an image of my old recliner. plus this other la-z-boy chair that looks like my old chair. but it's a dark blue recliner with that same soft beautiful chenille fabric i'm wanting in a chair that i want to get soon. those beautiful soft clean lines soft to the touch under my fingers. the soft chair rubbing against my skin as i sit in it, even if i snuggle in it with my adorable big dan dee bear cuddles, and all my bearington plush kitties. let me know what you think. keep living in the moment and enjoy your glider. just a new suggestion for you just in case something happens to your chair and you need a more comfy recliner to snuggle in with your baby.
