  • Wow! Lyles shocks the world and runs the 3rd fastest ever 200m whilst claiming the new American record of 19.31 at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Oregon. He did tell us he was gonna put on a show.

    knighton was a catalyst for Lyles 19.31, he gave him the motivation to work harder

      @@PoliticalMastermind0 apparently his right foot hit the middle part of the blocks while he was jus getting out which made his acceleration not as good as he wanted it to be

      True. Bolt pushed himself in that one. But in 2012 I distinctly remember Bolt easing up like most of his races before the finish line

      Bolt ran 19.30 in Beijing into a -0.9 headwind. This race had a tailwind. Bolt would have left this whole field in the dust

    As a Jamaican i was a bit worried when i saw Lyles come off the turn in the lead. After that It wasn't if he would win, it was how fast will he go. Lol.

    Where was this Noah Lyle in Tokyo? He seemed sluggish and in a funk and really underperformed in a race where he was the clear favorite.

      Bolt ran 19.19 into a headwind. This was 19.31 with a tailwind. All records will be broken, but that one is still pretty far from it
