Purpose is, possibly, the singular motivator. So great to see Alex and here's to you hitting your marks. Look forward to seeing you attack Leadville!

I started doing 5K runs. What is your advice on how to get faster? I just did one and it was my best time at 24:52 that I had done 3 miles, but I am always trying to improve and I felt like I struggled feeling wise. Adrenaline and that competitive feeling at an event like a 5K had kicked in for me. I enjoy you guys and have mad props to you both especially Jeremy because of the seriousness of his Motocross injuries to keep pushing!!! It’s impressive how hard you still push! Thanks Guys!

@@joederringer6716 Johnny Hopper took up some hardcore running since he backed out of competitive racing and his times are straight up lightning fast. I am older, so whipping my legs faster to make up time does more damage than a better laptime is worth. Keep trying different stuff and tell us how it's working 👋

Good question! The best advice I could give you through a RUclips comment would be do about 80-85% of your runs at an easy pace, then pick 1-2 days a week and add some intensity. There’s dozens of running workouts you could do but my personal favorite is probably 3-5x1 mile hard (Zone 5), with 3 mins recovery between. Good luck! 💪

I am 54 yrs old and started running with my daughter, so she had someone to run with practicing for Cross Country. I’ve been struggling with tendon/calf issue on my right leg making hard to train like I want too. Back to back days of running my leg gets pretty sore. Feels like a bone bruise on my shin also. Thank You very much for the reply! Please keep posting videos as I love watching you journey! Best of luck to you in your upcoming races!

You should do Columbus Marathon it's in October
    Columbus Ohio
Fairly flat and easy. Towards the end you go around the famous shoe stadium where The Ohio State Buckeyes play

I don't understand how you can have a mastery of off road motorcycle racing and decide to pound asphalt with only your feet for ~3hrs at 9mph. Desert racing, Enduro, GNCC, trials, or back to SX/AX/MX, but... 🤷🏼‍♂️

@TrollTraining I can see the part where you might get into the David Goggins mind over matter approach, but running is significantly slower and involves much less of the full-body and mental faculties. If you changed your plans, I definitely wouldn't fault you for it, but for someone who's never been to a pro level at any sport, I guess that's where I can't relate. I am definitely not trolling you, even though this is the only Troll Training RUclips channel I know of 😋
