It got popularized in every household during the time of sadhak Krishnananda Agambagish and Raja KrishnaChandra.

When Lord Shiva came to know about this he got very angry and sent his two ganas, Virabhadra and Devi Bhadrakali, and these two powerful ganas of Shiva destroyed everything.❤

Definitely Ma kali is full of shakti & one can fear her for her appearance, intensity etc. but for us( Bengalis) kali has always been our mother, The Devine Ma, whenever we call her Ma, she listens, she smiles. she has the bright, innocent smile on her face.
