Gorgeous!! I love a smaller but really efficient house. That kitchen is to die for. It may bot be "big" but it has a ton of workspace! I wish we could see the other two bedrooms, bathroom(s), mudroom!
The Marrs do such nice homes. I'd love for them to do mine, if I ever move to the area (which is a retirement dream, we already live just a couple of hours away).
For beeing a German, we don't understand why a renovation for a wooden house can be so expensive. For such a price for the renovation here in Germany we get a finished house made of bricks for a whole family ready to move in. In Germany we do not have wooden houses at all. It is so sad to see that living in the USA is so expensive because costs for school for each kid and for medical treatment, surgery, college and so on you have to pay on your own 😢. In the USA I would only live to work than the other way around although I have a very good income. Please command
They built a new roof raised above the existing roof, between the two is the insulation needed to keep the house warm. It was a smart move to make the original ceiling a feature.
It's either at the island or outside. They built a patio on the side and also put a wooden fence for privacy. I've seen another edit/vid of this house which was longer.
Question the white painted ductwork in the addition. White says "I am a feature," which is a lie. Think painting it black, or leaving it unfinished may have been better. The new living space furnishings placement feels awkward. The layout is confusing, too. Kitchen is super.
No dining area? Only the island? They might regret to have downsized to such a tiny house when the kids, who later on might no live in the area, will come and visit
I think they will regret buying this tiny house. The rooms are so small and it will be really tight when the kids visit. What were they thinking spending all that money on a shoe box?
I just wish Jenny would stick to describing what she does and letting her husband talk about his specialty. She's a bit aggressive and takes charge and takes over. It's unfair to him. Very emasculating.
I like the kitchen. The rest of the house is okay for being small, but there were some weird choices, as well. The new door placement in the living area limits furniture placement.
Jenny should stop painting everything green!!! they did a basement for a 14 yr boy and painted everything GREEN???? Why not lighter colours ? I am surprised her whole house is not painted green

Aww man…I really wanted to see the mud/laundry room, & their bathroom. Great work on such a tiny home.

They paid $385,000 for THAT house?! Looks like they overpaid $300,000 for that box. Plus side: Jenny and Dave did a fantastic renovation.
Maybe location....
i didn't think real estate was so expensive in the midwest
Exactly that's way too much
Must be nice to be rich. I would've invested in 3 houses and retired
Plus, they had to remove lead from the house 7,000.
I I lovvvve this little house! Great job!
Best house so far. But want to see the whole house
Well done, Jenny and Mike. Its amazing !!!
Love the kitchen
I loved it All...Beautiful!!! ❤🎉

$385k purchase price for a 700sqft house absolutely blows my mind.
Exactly! The house price was ridiculously overpriced!
Omg right?!!
It's a sought after location. Duh
And it has been neglected. That hole in the wall, etc. I was surprised.
@@m.r.6222lol.
Excellent!! Great!!
Joe is my hero! "What Joe did in the 40s, he did good work". Lol!! 🎉
The 1sst thing they always ask is the fliors & always suggest replacing even when its ok. Ithink they mint alot from floors & roofs
Consider adding to the kitchen a corner diner style booth area for eating.
'Well this kitchen is little..' (looks at kitchen that is bigger than mine, in a house twice the size of this one, and cries)

Tebrik ederim, çok güzel oldu👍💯
I agree with JF; That house is only worth about $85,000 unless it came with 100 acres or more. Boy did they get ripped off. But I love Jenny and Dave
❤ supergut geworden ❤
I wonder with the ceiling being so open, would the house be the right temparature? It looks nice but is it practical for living in?
They built a new roof raised above the existing roof, between the two is the insulation needed to keep the house warm.
It was a smart move to make the original ceiling a feature.
Why don't you show all of the reveal 😔
So beautiful now.
Güzel olmuş,keşke mutfağı tavanı öyle olmasaydı ❤
That is an insane amount of money for such a small house
I think I missed it - where do they eat now, at the island?

Where are the bathrooms?

The owners wanted to retain the door in the kitchen (to the outside), instead they removed it. Hmp. I liked the kitchen but disliked the door removal.
You have to go to there shows and watch the whole thing.these are just small clips
Where the hell is the insulation in the roof after you vaulted the ceiling? No insulation is a disaster. Bad design.
They added a new roof on top of the old one so most likely insulated the new roof.

They added it over. It is discussed in the video in an inobvious way.

Leave that to Them and enjoy the program.
I guess I am the only one that doesn't like this home

Looks like a very old show
