Hey boys. I dont think you unlocked the full power in the settings. I personally have ridden this bike for 6mo and in level 5 get it to 27mph on the flats and I weigh in at 250lbs.

Very interesting review. I appreciate your candor about the performance and ride quality of this bike. All bikes have pluses and minuses and can have electrical quirks but it is rare for reviewers to call out these things.

Bought this bike a few days ago brand new for about $2000 after tax. Absolutely amazing in my opinion, flies up steep hills at 10mph with just the throttle and around 20mph with just some light pedaling. They talk about on their website how they prioritize hill climbing ability and it shows. Compared to my $1600 Phat Cycles Ebreeze, the tower ebike feels like a tesla. Battery life is also great, I go up and down a hill with close to 10 miles of distance and it will still be full battery when i’m home. Acceleration also has some crazy kick, as a driver i would be surprised to see how fast this bike can go from 0 to 20mph on a green light. Also would like to add, all Tower employees I worked with so far have been very nice, and very passionate about selling people a well priced solid ebike. Bravo Tower!

I think the handlebars flexing on bumps is a good thing as long as the handlebars are made to flex and not Bend or break. Flexing would act as a shock absorbing feature.
