It took me 2 days... Hard to dismount egr, extremly hard to clean the oily soot shroud in manifold. Its absolutely resistant to petrol, only carbcleaner can deal with it. I used 4 ballons to clean the dirt.
Watched this over and over again, but I am still intimidated by the process. Been thinking about doing it by myself or rather "destroy it yourself". I might just let someone else do the the job, but I don't know what shop in my area I could trust.
Had mine done DIY. Thanks for the tutorial. But i am having issues with my fuel rail supply pipe. Its always leaking fuel. Had removed and reconnected it twice already. Got any ideas?

@@btdgarage That would be great if possible. I know several owners of Tritons and Paj/Mont Sport with 4N15 engines who'd like to do it properly, themselves. What I'm often confused with is gaining access to the adjusters, since there are so many parts in the way.

Hello. Got some question here. Last day on 13 January 2022 I've got my 60k km service at Service centre. Everything seems done correctly. Then I'd have a long drive on 14 January 2022 when I notice there's something weird about my engine sound when I press the throttle and like loss a bit of power. Then later on after 12 hour park, I'll check the engine oil dipstick level, it goes half between max level and the x mark. Then I'll check it again immediately after turned on the engine a while, dipstick level goes about 0.5mm over the max level. Will it cause any damage to my car engine? I already drive for about 200km before realize the overfilling oil engine from the service Centre. Thank you..
Hi. 0.5mm over isn’t that bad. However, regarding loss of power it’s best to bring your unit back in the service center to have it rechecked if there’s a noticeable loss in performance. Most of the time on modern diesels, a simple issue like a loose intercooler hose clamp / boost leak can cause a significant loss of power. Have every part they removed/serviced rechecked and retightened.
@@btdgarage when I checked back last Pic I've taken, it's more like 1.5cm +/- from max.. But already sorted out. Drained the excesses oil the other day, engine running smoothly already.. Hope didn't cause any damage..

Sir off topic but somewhat similar din. OIL CATCH CAN, ano po ang mga cons if any? When i cleaned my throttle body there was a significant volume of oil. I assume it came from the xylinder head breather then passed thru the VGT to the intercooler? Makakatulong po ba ang oil catch can?
Not really since the EGR system connects straight from the exhaust and to the intake manifold. Catch cans goes in between the pcv/breather hose and intake hose
No need na po. But if you want to be sure, loosen the upper end of the removed fitting (1 full turn), unplug all injector electrical sockets, then crank the engine, air bubbles will come out sa fitting. Don’t exceed 10secs when cranking. Once there’s no more bubbles or air coming out of the fitting, tighten it. Reconnect the injector sockets then start the engine. If you get a check engine light after this, it’s due to the injectors unplugged while cranking, so best to have an OBD scanner ready when doing this to clear the code.

Hi Paulo! If it keeps on leaking it’s best to replace it. Just make sure not to over tighten those pipes upon installation.

Hi. 0.5mm over isn’t that bad. However, regarding loss of power it’s best to bring your unit back in the service center to have it rechecked if there’s a noticeable loss in performance. @@btdgarage I think the loss of power is related to the excess oil because the crankshaft get some resistance when the oil reaching the crankshaft..
When I checked again, the overfill is about the same level as from 'min' to 'max'..
