GIVEN: S1=2n
S2=4n
S2-S1=1000
TO FIND: Sum of the first 6n Terms
My Solution: Since, S1=2n & S2=4n
We Can Say that [ 2S1=2x2n=4n & We Know that S2=4n ]
Therefore, [ 2S1=S2 ] ................. Eqn (1)
Now, Put Eqn (1) in [ S2-S1=1000 ]
Hene, 2S1-S1=1000 ............. From Eqn (1)
S1=1000 ................... Eqn (2)
Now We Know [ S1=2n ] & We need to find 6n
Let [ LHS=S1 ] and [ RHS=2n ]
Multiply 3 on both side We get,
[ 3S1=6n ]
Now Put Eqn (2)
therefore, [ 3x1000=6n ]
Hence, 6n=3000
Personally, I used this Method & I think it's More Quick & Easier

for 28:00 to save a few seconds you can multiply and divide 20 by 3 so that becomes 60/3 and the series becomes 60/3 , 58/3, 56/3, ... and you can use formula for the numerator and divide the Sn by 3 and equate it to 300. so ez
