I have ordered a new camera to shoot POV style videos.
For this video I have simply strapped a webcam to my bicycle helmet and expanded the video capture to fill the computer screen. I then used screen-cast recording software to capture footage.
These tasks running together seemed too much for the computer to handle and the final result was quite poor. I am working to improve the quality of my shoots plus audio.
I have decided to just publish as it serves as a record of my progress.

Thanks for the video. You say just unscrew the four screws and the batteries will come out pretty easy. How exactly? My battery pack is pretty solidly stuck in there with the 4 screws taken out and it's not obvious where it's stuck. Any ideas?

you need to takethe sticker from the mini USB with the stick on it there is a hidden screw. When you unbold that one you can gently get the whole battery including the unit out

I was looking for an outdoor camera to keep an eye on my dogs in the yard when I'm not home. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxOXxsTZ3ptV_Pk0fFl8bNZvVqeoqBQFwe Tried a different one that was absolutely terrible, so I got these instead. They work perfectly! With 3 of these cameras I can see every corner of the yard, and they were very easy to set up. The best part is I only get the footage I want to see, not hours of videos of the bird feeder swaying in the breeze.

Take some silicone and rub it around the rubber ring that is around the camera. Over time, dirt and dust make it impossible to just pull the camera out. I added silicone and they fall right out like new when I press the release.

That doesn’t work for the essential. It has a “non-removable battery”. There is no release like the others.

my pro 4 looks nothing like that. No buttons, no seams in the plastic. The is one allen screw back from the magnet/battery charger. It was very tight, I was more worried about stripping out the hex head. Very tight. My issue is the camera's stopped working after one week. The internet went out as Xfinity is prone to do every morning and the cams stopped working. So I am both trying to see if the batts are dead and if the system needs to be reset to the internet.

Just got a 4 cam set... One of my cameras was very troublesome. Arlos' customer service STINKS! Take it from me, there are better systems out there. Don't bother with this company.

Hello. Do you have any idea why the battery of the camera indicates the battery in red in the app. This camera is connected to an Arlo Solar Panel. This is my model. Arlo Pro. Today the temperatures in my state in the morning are at 14F. 8/2/2022. Thanks for your attention.

Hi there. Wow that's cold. Not knowing the answer to your question, I was curious. Done a bit of a google and found the following. kb.arlo.com/1179176/What-do-my-Arlo-camera-s-battery-level-icons-and-notifications-mean . In case the link dies, it looks like it means "Plugged in but not charging due to a temporary condition such as low light on solar panel or too cold for charging". I hope the link works for you. Thanks

Arlo essential with solar panel, the solar panel will charge battery when temperatures are above 32 F and lower than 113 F. I’m having major issues with my Arlo solar panel right now and the Arlo essential itself.

I am having a similar issue. My Arlo essential is attached to a solar panel but when I put it back up after some maintenance, it said low battery. So I took it down and charged it in an outlet. It had a blue light blinking and solid the entire time. But when I put it back up connected to the solar panel it said low battery cannot connect. I even disconnected / unpaired and the Wi-Fi dock says not found

@@Nademaria55battery might be bad. Does it work for long after you disconnect the power cable? Or log in and see what the battery reads after you disconnect

It's a 4.35 minute video for information that I was not able to find anywhere. The fast forward and double speed features are for people just like you. Suggest you use it rather than discourage people going out of their way to get information out. Thanks for commenting anyway.
