Maider's tech scored really well, it's just the evaluations that didn't score nearly as high as Gentry. Gentry simply dissects every part of competing and masters it. So... Tough guy to beat.
I honestly think this is just as good as Gentry's routine. Sure his body is pretty rigid but he really works with the music, building trick complexity up with music intensity, and his combination of whips and shoulder/elbow wraps adds a lot of interest.
+Matthew Kosta Andrew is actually one of my favorite players to watch. Not just because of his tricks but because of his stage presence and how he usually looks like he's having fun on stage.
I think that his routine is more appealing to a certain skill of those who throw yoyos because they can kind of appreciate the complexity of his tech. Probably not as appealing as gentry or zach to a nonthrower, but looking I think people could find enjoyment at dissecting the tricks he does. I personally really enjoy slacks, looks cool.
I can never get over how amazing his binds are
+Eric R. his binds are cool but I want to see something more amazing this year

Dang this is a masterpiece
2nd place 150 $ yoyo
1st place 16 $ yoyo
$150 for a yoyo what the fuck
CLYW is like a tech house
lol
He deserved the win IMO
the ending was rough so he probably lost a lot of points there for consistently missing tricks. Great routine though!

I came to the comment section to read this. This guys routine is crazy good.
2:57 that is one of the most impressive whips I've seen in my life
do a kickflip
The song is Anonymous by Dirtyphonics.
Damn!
Siiicckkk!!!!
I don’t understand how gentry win over this . Degree if difficulty and cleanliness here is off the charts
back at it again with the vans
if only his name was daniel
he should have won I think
He's like evan but smoother and more techy. Also have very creative trick construction
Is that a blizzard?
+Luis Benjamin Diazno,it is a clyw-orca.
the blizzard hasn't been produced then during nats 15
3:04 doesn't that move look familiar? Almost like Gentry's fake rejection triangle only without the triangle.
DAMN DANIEL BACK AGAIN WITH THE WHITE VANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is
Was that is fast motion!
Nice grammar.
For a minute I thought he pulled a 180 Gyroscopic flop @ 2:10 when he pops is over the top strings
+Derrick Jolicoeur that would be cool
he'll probs win next year
He stole that last bind from gentry stein
+anthony pena which one
I don't think so. Pretty sure Gentry copied him.
either way they copied it from each other lets just leave it at that
um no. Maider did it in a competition first. therefore odds are that gentry was influenced by him. people can't both copy of each other
it was a joke man
I have sat here and count and he've fail the tricks 5 times lol
iBallicstic Bear killer English homie
@@Jacksonkade I dont think he knows what homie means🙃

hes good technically but anyone else find him boring to watch? like he's not really performing just competing?
+john dolores tbh I think he sorta tried to look like a robot in this and it almost worked, like it went with the music really good.
