CIMMYT’s SRFSI project is improving productivity, profitability and sustainability across the Eastern Gangetic Plains. In West Bengal, the success of men and women farmers and agri-entrepreneurs is paving the way for the out-scaling of climate-smart conservation agriculture practices for sustainable intensification across the region.

No doubt, Uttar Banga Agricultural University along with SRFSI is working extremely well, they come forward with such innovation. Now they are much ahead in the extension conservation agricultural technology for a more holistic farmers development. Kudos to the scientists, technicians and extension workers for their immense effort to bolster farmer economy in Northern parts of Bengal.
