Nice Michael! I have a MING and it has curved spring bars. Burgundy dial. I would really like for you to make a strap for the watch. I just need to pick a right color and thread. Enjoy these videos.

I agree the straight spring bar probably could have worked out fine on my 2003 DateJust. There is plenty of clearance with the curved spring bar I ordered.
I just put on the dark navy alligator strap on my patek 5205. The embedding spring bars makes it a snap to change out the straps. I have to say.. your alligator strap feels even more comfortable than the original Patek strap.

Hello, I've watched alot of your videos, you seem to have experience with many different leathers.
I recently used Zermatt calfskin as an inner liner, which is excellent - but I don't like how soft the temper was, as it "deformed" ever so slightly with the tension of the saddle stitch, which I do not like.
Are there any leathers you know of that have a firmer hand, that are appropriate for use as an inner liner? I have found natural colored buttero, etc. becomes discolored (in a bad way) over time, not being combo tanned/pigmented at all.

Hi Robert, Thanks for reaching out! I’ve not had any real issues with Zermatt as a lining. You may have used too thick of a piece. You could always try other Calfskins or Lambskins. Of course Shell Cordovan is the ultimate, which is what I use on all of my personal strap linings. If you find something else that works well, please let me know. Thanks again! MK
