THIS IS WHAT WE NEEDED! There's so many Riddim tutorials on YT and they all just focus on the drop. We finally have an incredible tutorial that focuses on everything BUT the drop. I've needed this for such a long time. Please Will, more of this.
Very cool! Another tip i can give the viewers when making an intro around the drop, Is having some kind of a melodic element in your drop, maybe an arp, somekind of melody and stuff like that, then isolating that and building something new around the melody or arp that you have and since the arp works with the drop, if you make something that fits with the arp alone aswell it should work as an intro aswell, Btw would glad to see part 2 of this where we see a different direction you could've taken the track from the same drop, that would be interesting to see! Thanks ghosthack! And hope you're doing good will!
Hey Will love the vid 🙏🏿 very detailed as are all of your vids! I went back and even still am going through some of your vids when you were on spektral sound and I’ve learned a lot! I know you’ve already done a few videos for how to make a dubstep song but you think you’d have time to make another one? Maybe like this one? If not it’s all good 🙏🏿
I just came across this video and noticed that the piano riff you started with (around 7:04) is exactly the same riff that I wrote in 1999 for my song "Dancing Skeletons," which I released on my 2002 album. However, you said that the riff was "obvious and generic!" Ouch!!! Just kidding, actually I don't mind! (My song was supposed to be silly anyway.) Anyway, nice video and great composition!
I create the drop first and gets stuck on intro and outro as the drop can also sound different in riddim which makes it unique... Thanks for this buddy
Can you start explaining really quick how to make the automation not the size of the whole project when you fuck up cause I still dont know how and I'm sure that a lot of people watching dont either. Im about to google it rn but It would definitely help in future tutorials if you mentioned it
I'm a year late because I didn't exist on RUclips at that time. I have a question, many people criticize badly when the percussions are made where you made them, I seek your advice, is it correct to do them there or not?
axel flores yes because the sample packs should be royalty free. But in my opinion I don’t like to do that because I feel like I didn’t do anything so I don’t deserve money from a track like that.
Hey Mark! We as Ghosthack are extremely proud to say that Will from Spektral Sound is now a huge part of our company :) He still does killer sound design tutorials (only on another channel) and he can also pour his creativity into our sample libraries. We are more than happy to have him in our team 👍
No offense to VR but this guy in my opinion outdid him in the very first tutorial i've seen of him. Thank you this was more than informative Ama sub as a matter of fact, when i went over to your channel i found everything that i needed xD
It's pretty simple, you don't need a course if you have little sparte time to learn it. The hard part is when you will start to learn music harmony or composition but with these kind of musics you don't need them...

Vids are always on point, you should make a vid on all your plug-in settings like patcher, the eq, and reverb

I create the drop first and gets stuck on intro and outro as the drop can also sound different in riddim which makes it unique... Thanks for this buddy

That's actually not what I was looking for at all, but thanks for the tuto lol
Cheers, what are you looking for? We have plenty of sound and producer tutorials.
Can you start explaining really quick how to make the automation not the size of the whole project when you fuck up cause I still dont know how and I'm sure that a lot of people watching dont either. Im about to google it rn but It would definitely help in future tutorials if you mentioned it
you should make a drumstep one
Thanks for the suggestion!
for some reason it reminds me not of Riddim but of Dethstep

Fucking Love These Guys, bought that £300 sample pack for only £30 I think it was, great deal. Thanks!
Cheers, thanks for the support!
Oh boy
I use ghosthack sample pack before, but right now who’s
wow,i am the third one !
Bruuuh i wanna know how you made that bass
How do you make full Bassloops with my own synth Waves and have the full wave table to work with?
How did you make those little tabs intro build drop
Noobie here how do you copy and paste the hole thing ?
I think you should've kept the second halves of the drops. Still sounds good and creepy though
Can you sell your music even if it's all made with sample packs that you bought?
axel flores yes because the sample packs should be royalty free. But in my opinion I don’t like to do that because I feel like I didn’t do anything so I don’t deserve money from a track like that.
will stares so much that he looks like he commentates over recorded footage
yo what sample pack is that choir riser from??

What is the name of that dark impact ?
Dark impact?
Can someone tell me what happened to Spektral Sound?

Ghosthack Ooooh okay sick! Tell him I’m happy for him!

I would love to pay you to teach me how to use fl studios as a MasterClass

Robert S I like this, appreciate you giving it a different perspective for me!!
The drop is always the easiest
*Heavy dubstep... not riddim
make it full and send it to DubsterGutter
Good idea ;)
I thought this was going to be Reggae related.
Lol, sounds kinda Oolacile
Wasn't intended to be 😁
