@@bkkersey93 - Actually, I think it’s good to measure our trials with others. It will humble you if you know the Lord. It doesn’t mean we minimize our own troubles, it just means we realize how much worse things can be sometimes. Like I said, it helps to keep you humble. At least it does for me. Whenever I start feeling sorry for myself, I DO remember those who are dealing with life changing events like an illness or loss of a loved one, etc.
When TD Jakes said “I know how it feels like to serve and be hurting” I felt that 😭💔

I was backslidden and walking the streets at night. And a police officer stopped me and she called me by my name. Nobody knew my name so I knew she knew me and she told me who she was I didn't even recognize her she was a person that attended the church that I used to go to she told me that we love you Victoria and we miss you and she hugged me and I broke. My life changed within 24 hours after that the hug the love I felt changed my life sometimes all we need to do is hug somebody and tell them we love them

By the grace of God, you'll never know that feeling. It's beyond brutal. I lost two, one at 26 and 27 from weird illnesses. My son just passed a week ago and I'm ruined. But I still love God

I love this because they didn't just use him for his gift but they ministered to him, the person, who've experienced loss in a deep way. I know what it is to serve with a broken heart 💔 and what helps is when it is acknowledged, prayed for , and you are embraced in that way. You can keep going after that. That's the people you want to be connected to. They have the capacity for your mountaintop and your valley🙏🏾🙌🏾

The pain is great! I lost my son and know the pain of losing a child no matter the age. I hurt with him and family and for them. There is no pain like it! I have seen the strength in him thus far. God IS A KEEPER!

The way he fell in his arms. You could feel that.
I will never forget this moment. This happened around the time two gospel legends lost their children around the same time.
Toby Mac also lost his son Truest, who was so talented and beautiful inside and out, to an overdose. And then I turned on RUclips and boom another tragedy Micah the man of God with the War Cry lost his daughter.
The thing that blesses me about both of them is that their faith is still intact.
One members from DC talk have somewhat renounced their faith and nothing like this happened to them to my knowledge
Yet these men of God have their eyes on Jesus.
I’m not sure if I articulated how much of a blessing Micah and Toby are to the body of Christ but I pray their lives will continue to be walking epistles.
I can feel the anointing so strongly! In waves over and over. And that’s through a video. Praise God! May God heal him and his family!!

I’m not sure if anyone has said it yet, it won’t even matter. But THISSSSSSS THISSSSSS IS WHAT CHURCH IS SUPPOSED TO BE!!!!! Strip away the smoke and mirrors, and lights, and pomp and circumstance, personal branding, etc THIS IS WHAT believers and non believers ALIKE are supposed to experience when they come into worship!
