hahahahahahah!!! I love the image -- because it was so true! -- of us walking for a half hour down the Blockbuster aisles with our heads tilted sideways. You write some good lines, Paul!
I appreciate EVERYTHING you do to help us all to keep moving that needle forward! Also, your voice is so soothing! It reminds me of Keith Morrison's amazing ability to hit juuuust the right tone, inflection and cadence to keep all of us hooked! Thank you
Man I needed to hear this. Beside the VO specific concern, you're great at motivating people, or at least give them that bleu pill we're missing in modern world. Love your content. Greetings from Morocco
I had to take a hiatus from pursuing VO. It has been very difficult to achieve the sound reduction I need to record a quality audition in the city. Even with a portable fabric sound booth in my small studio apartment. Have I given up on it? No, I just haven't found the right solution yet. In the meantime, I've focused on my physical and mental health. This really helped, and I really need to figure out my "why".
Great video Paul, feeling grateful for this profound information and how it pertains to my current situation. I have been putting my resources into coaching at least once a week, getting out for a walk every other day, and in my booth every day working scripts. No marketing because I don't have a product ready to sell but it's coming. Thanks Paul and have a great day.
Dude! You’re killing it. Training regularly, taking care of your body, and getting in your practice. Also well aware of your current situation and trajectory. Well done!
@@vo-pro And I am working with two different coaches. One is a booth director and the other is an actress. I'm trying to work as many muscle groups as I can.
Did I somehow subconsciously agree to have Elon's NeuroLink installed into my head? Because MAN, this podcast is spot on for me like you were reading my mind! Great episode
Hey Paul, I appreciate you taking time out of your day to offer help to a no name in the VO industry like me. I took advantage of the VO Pro deal and look forward to engaging with the community that you have built over there!
Great insights. I miss the tilted head browsing of Blockbuster. But I still get to do that in bookstores and libraries. Of the many points you made, I believe that honest reflection on the work being done, the results obtained, and assessing happiness and satisfaction all help to strive to stay honest with your vision, goals, and flexibility to keep learning and adjusting.
“What got you here, will not get you there”. Hits hard. Thank you for everything you do for the community, Paul.
Anytime. Thanks for watching, James.
“You don’t know your ass from your interface” is perfect 😂👏🏼
🤣👊
This is something I needed today after a hard week at work. Thank you for posting this.
And thank you for watching it.
Really appreciate you posting this Paul...this was needful! Your first point on CLARITY registered completely with me.
Glad it helped, and glad we got to meet in Dallas, Ferlon.
@@vo-pro likewise Paul!

Keith is fantastic at what he does, so to be mentioned in the same breath is quite a compliment. Thank you.

You’re very kind to say that. Thanks so much.
As always, the perfect message, focused, on point and full of truth/advice and the challenges we all need to keep going. Thanks....again! 😎
Glad it helped!

The why is often the most difficult part.

Talk about lack of clarity 😂 Good thing I signed up for the right program. See you over there!
