I grew to love the NASB years ago when it was the translation Dr. Charles Stanley used it for his radio broadcasts. This is a lovely Bible, thank you for the review.

I got this one, and though the cover is nice, and there are some charts added…..because of how small the font is, this still won’t replace the Zondervan - Personal Size, Giant Print, NASB 95’ Reference Bible from the year 2000. I was hoping the font would be a little bigger, but the “Comfort Print” editions seem to run a little smaller in actual font size. Other than the font size due to my bad eyesight, this is a very nice Bible, loaded with more features than the 2000 edition. Thank you so much for another fantastic review!
P.S. This looks like a really nice Bible. Too bad I don't need another NASB '95. However, if it was a large print, 11-12 point font, I might have been tempted. And having red letter text in the NT is a win for me, and not in the two NASB Bibles I currently have. You make it difficult for me to pass on this one. :)
That is a good looking Bible, with a good layout. I like the features, not too flashy and not too busy. I also like that size, a good all around Bible. Have a blessed day my friend!

Thank you for going through and editing and posting these videos. (Some of us are Bible review junkies - definitely speaking for myself and a few others I know). I have to be honest: I wish I had bought this one instead of the "reader" 1995 NASB. I got in a panic thinking I better get a good NASB1995 before they disappeared! I am glad to see this here. Great review. Appreciate all the detail. And the way you have the camera so we can see for ourselves. There was one thing I noticed that you said about "readability" of the maps, right as you were on a page where it was a two page spread is that they were thoughtful enough to put margins around both sides of the map, so they weren't falling into the gutter, leaving the reader wondering if they are missing something. I LOVE it when publishers do this with their Bibles! Bravo, Zondervan! Oh, and those 3/8" ribbons, double sided satin and long enough to use - that's premium quality. I LOVE that too!
Forgot to say: I wish I had gotten this both for it's smaller size and for all those cross references! Wonderful.

I really appreciate that viewers can see that it does take time to do these videos and I really try to get good close up shots and give enough detail for someone to make an informed decision because Bibles can be expensive and it’s always such a bummer when you get one and it’s not what you expected. I would much rather give too much info and have people only watch 2 minutes than not give enough info and have them get to the end of the video and say to themselves “well that was a waste of my time” so I really do try to show things that people want to see because I know these are the things I want to know as a consumer too and those who are considering spending their hard earned money on one are the ones who will watch the whole video and that’s why I do this. If it helps just one person find a Bible that they just fall in love with and will READ then that makes me happy.
Both Zondervan and Thomas Nelson have really done an incredible job with their new Bibles and I continue to be impressed with them and something as simple as separating the two page maps and putting the border around them makes a big difference. They keep giving us so many nice features yet they are still affordable. I love it!

Thankyou for another great review. I've been waiting a long time for the release of this Bible. A little disappointed they don't have it in in the blue or black. I was expecting it to be more of a premiere collection Bible. Love your new intro by the way!

I may have missed this on the video, but what are the dimensions? Perhaps someone could show a picture with a ruler as different sites say different sizes.
This would be the NASB I'd want if it was all black letters. I couldn't read anything Jesus said in the Bible, so it'd be useless to me. Other than that, this is truly a great looking Bible. Unfortunately, I don't think Zondervan would make this in all black letter text. Great review.
It’s an awesome little Bible with lots of great features but for someone who’s eyes can’t take the red letter it would not work. I’m not sure what other smaller sized NASBs have the black letter. The size of this one is perfect for a daily carry Bible.

I was going to buy this Bible, thought it was just what I was looking for, UNTIL I saw that it includes introductions to each book. No thanks. Very disappointing. I am NOT interested in having in my Bible some editor's thoughts and ideas, particularly their ideas about the "THEME AND MESSAGE."
I absolutely love my old NASB reference Bible published years ago by World Publishing, inc. It's a REFERENCE Bible, verse form, two columns, center reference notes, excellent cross references, red letter. It has NO "STUDY BIBLE" characteristics. Only problem is the tiny font. I need that very same Bible, but only in larger print. Still looking around.
