One of the greatest things I have ever seen. That comeback was one of the comebacks of all comebacks. Sherrock stole the show this tournament, Pushed MVG to his limit in the final. Hopefully we’ll see her back in the Grand Slam and World Championships, along with earning her tour card.
Not only a comeback, but a comeback by a woman, she impressed you beyond belief!!

Im a Dimi fan, and he didnt look comfortable all tournament. It really showed that Fallon had more heart towards the end, you could see it in his eye. She's a hell of a dart player, and deserved this tournament outcome!

Most importantly, what a fantastic showpiece for Darts. Huge bravo and congrats to Fallon. Dimitri bumping fists with her at 10-10, dude you lost that match but gained great respect from a new fan for that humility. Fallon won that match with BRILLIANT finishes, Dimi never lost it. She won it. Watch it again!

Dimitri is very good player. But when he is on pressure he is losing his concentration. Just watch the final leg.

For a player of his standard he should not be feeling pressure to hold throw and make it 10-4… he for whatever reason just had a shocker this match, also it’s not even a major he has plenty of experience on much larger stages than this.

I have to wonder when people say its a confidence game and seemingly dimitry really started to believe he couldn't do it. Just a bit spooky idea but... Could it be more will then confidence steering those darts. And when a player trully believes they can win that just helps steer the darts true?

To be perfectly honest, when it got to 7 - 1 I was ready to watch something else 🤔 boy am I glad I didn't OMG Fallon doesn't get 180's ever leg but she clung on & battled her way back into it. 💖💖💖 you gotta love her for her determination at least & to meet MVG in the final 😧 that's going to look good on anyone's C.V.

I loved Fallon the second I laid eyes on her :) I've thrown over three hundred 180s, sixteen times 3 centre bulls, sure does gives me more motivation when I watch games like this:) He was so nervous because she has beat him before this in a big match

she did something similar in the grand slam; trailed behind 1-3 to win 5-3 with a 4 legs strike and smashed last leg with 170 finisher.
The commentaor was wrong when he said "5 brilliant darts" because the two previous darts were triple 19s. They were 7 brilliant darts.
Previously, I wouldn't have put darts on the list of exciting spectator sports, but this is a tense and exciting match. Big props to Fallon for enduring what must have been a lot of macho bullshit to earn her place here, and to PDC for creating the opportunity for her to do it and for us to watch. Whatever folks think of the politics surrounding the PDC and BDO, the PDC is bringing darts into the future so it isn't so macho and limited anymore. And so it's also becoming an exciting spectator sport.

Whitlock's comeback against Caven in the UK open has to be up there. Whitlock winning like 8 or 9 straight with Caven only needing one more to win, and then hitting a 146 to win with Caven on like 50-something.

Thing is darts is one of the few sports where men don't have a biological advantage and it all comes down to skill. Yet Fallon got headlines when she beat Ted evetts in the WC who no disrespect I never even heard of nor is he an established darts player. Though here she proved her performances aren't a fluke with her come back win and she's a force to be reckoned with. She also played very well in the final against MVG and hadn't he not been in clutch form Fallon would've probably won the title.
She still needs to improve. Every men she has beaten so far, were way off their normal performance. So she always had to be a little bit lucky to get the chance. What makes her really good is, that she doesnt need many so if you give her something, she will take it. But her scoring is not there yet to compete without needing the opponent to miss many shots.
I mean its kinda hard to play her because if you will start missing shots, the crowd will bully you, because shes the woman/underdog. No disrespect to her game, i like her. But she has way to many 60 and under in her game right now. If someone pulls a 100+ avg on her, she is gone.
But with a bit of time, who knows. For me, its still to early to hype her up. She is not there yet but maybe will be some day. We'll see :)
