Absolutely! If you set the e brake, keep your foot on the brake pedal and turn the car on you can move the gear shifter to be able to get that portion of the dash in place easier. Hope this helps!
@@Kevin-if9kw I should be making a video on that in the next few months but basically what you need for a clean installation is a wiring pinout of your stock radio connector, a universal wiring harness connector (there are a few names for this item but it is vehicle specific), and then solder or crimp the wires from your new radio with the connector based on the wiring diagrams. If you are using a radio that also has additional accessories you'll need to find good places to run those wires under the dash (subwoofer connections, gps antennas, mic for hands free, etc). Hope this helps! Oh and of course be sure to unplug the battery beforehand!
That was a hi-low audio converter for the subwoofer installed in the trunk. I posted a link to the module in the description if you would like more details!
I love these kinds of cars!
Any tips for removing the bezel? I tried pulling mine off but the thing is crumbling. I don't wanna completely mutilate it until I have a replacement.
Any tips on putting the dash back on I can’t seem to get it
