I have learned so much from your tutorials!! Thank you for being so real in them, now I don't feel so bad when I mess up and I know where to go to see what I did wrong when I do!!
I do a lot of sublimation. When wrapping the paper around your project, place a piece of tape on one end, the one that will overlap. As you roll the item you’re wrapping the tape will grab as it goes around with the paper and help you hold the paper in place as you finish taping with additional pieces of tape. I do tumblers … lots of tumblers. This method makes wrapping them easy. I’ve not subbed pens, but a roll is a roll.
Jennifer, great video. Im just curious if you know where I can get RE- fillable, reusable ink cartridges for my Epson Workforce Pro WF-7840? Im trying to find cartridges I can keep using without changing the chips on them. Thanks!!!
I sublimated my pen barrels at 370 degrees Fahrenheit or 132 degrees Celsius - but your pens may have different recommended settings. jennifermaker.com/how-to-sublimate-pens/
Jennifer, Great Video but what I'm having a problem is that my Hamilton Convection Oven on Airfry at 370 for 5 mins tend to burnt off the shrink wrap. I stopped it at 3.5 mins. and then it's to hard to remove the wrapping. What am I doing wrong?
When working with sublimation pens and using a convection oven for the sublimation process, it's important to consider a few factors to prevent issues like burning the shrink wrap or making it difficult to remove. Here are some tips to help you troubleshoot the problem: Temperature Control: Check the accuracy of your oven's temperature. Use an oven thermometer to ensure that the temperature inside the oven matches the set temperature. Some ovens may have variations in temperature, and using an accurate thermometer can help you adjust accordingly. Temperature and Time Adjustment: Reduce the temperature: Try lowering the temperature to prevent the shrink wrap from burning. You might want to experiment with temperatures lower than 370°F. Adjust the time: Experiment with reducing the overall heating time. Sometimes, a shorter exposure time can prevent burning. Preheat the Oven: Ensure that the oven is properly preheated before placing the sublimation pens inside. Preheating helps to stabilize the temperature and ensures even heat distribution. Test with a Sample: Before sublimating a large batch of pens, test the process with a single pen or a small number of pens to see how they react to the heat and adjust your settings accordingly. Quality of Shrink Wrap: Ensure that the shrink wrap you are using is suitable for sublimation. Some materials may have different heat tolerance levels. Consider using shrink wrap specifically designed for sublimation processes. Cooling Period: Allow the sublimated pens to cool properly before attempting to remove the shrink wrap. This might make it easier to remove the wrapping without causing damage.
I want to buy the Pinch Perfect Pen Tool but it doesn't seem to be available for us poor old UK people. I can find it on American sellers' pages, but the cost of postage is a bit much for me to afford. Does anyone know if there is anywhere in the UK where I can get one from? Thanks in (hopeful) anticipation xxx
We have lots of boxes you can make on jennfermaker.com Here are some but we do not have a pen box. jennifermaker.com/diy-gift-boxes/ You can request that here. jennifermaker.com/projectrequests/
You set your phone in the gap of the clicker on the pen. The phone usually fits without being in its case, well at least for my phone. The phone sat perfectly horizontally, and now you are hands-free.
Converted Printers clogged for me and stopped working. I tried everything. Nothing worked to make it work again. Is yours a real Epson Sublimation printer or converted? It was such a waste of money. Worked for a while then died....Too Clogged ❤❤❤
I think as a teacher myself, you are the best online teacher I came across. Love to watch you from a far away South Africa.

Hi from Minnesota
Jennifer, great video. Im just curious if you know where I can get RE- fillable, reusable ink cartridges for my Epson Workforce Pro WF-7840? Im trying to find cartridges I can keep using without changing the chips on them. Thanks!!!
I prefer to have Cricut do my cutting. Was there a reason, besides preference, that you chose to not have Cricut cut for you? Thx!
How did you like the way these pens write? I love the inkjoy pens... so I am just curious if these are good pens.

How do you create customized shipment boxes or gift boxes?

This sounds like something I may be able to do! LOL
Doesn't a pen barrel melt in the oven or air fryer? How can we determine if a pen is compatible with sublimation and heat transfer?
They are sold as sublimation blanks🥰
Doesn’t the heat resistant tape usually interfere with sublimation?
I have had no problems with Cricut's heat resistant blue tape.

I don't have an air fryer. How can I do this with a heat press?
That would be a challenge. I have not attempted it but give it a try if you want to experiment.
Welcome back everyone.
Hi everyone
Real curios as to how those hold phones lol
You set your phone in the gap of the clicker on the pen. The phone usually fits without being in its case, well at least for my phone. The phone sat perfectly horizontally, and now you are hands-free.
Is it froze
It doesn’t start for another 25 mins
Hay

I have them all but yes, I converted an Epson EcoTank.
Thank You ❤@@JenniferMaker
