Nice finds, Valerie! ^_^ Did you decide to say "screw going with just mountain-y brands"? The wicker baskets with lids for $5 was definitely a nice find, as was that lamp for two bucks. With that said, I've sold many-a things that I had listed on Poshmark as "Unknown" brand! :) I'm glad it's working for you too! Good luck with sales!!!!

Nice finds. I support what you were saying. I started my “collecting” for resale before the beginning/early eBay days and before there were things like cell phone lookups and computer searches were far different. It wasn’t unusual to even find clothing brands missing entirely. The biggest thing I learned was “go with your gut”. If you have fair knowledge of the category and something just feels quality or catches your eye and is reasonably priced, i feel there is far more upside in picking up an unknown than the downside. I’ve forgotten most of my best sales, but it is almost impossible to forget those items that I am sorry to have passed on. I rather have had 99% poor purchases to obtain that 1% great one every time. I agree and I don’t believe there is anything that is unsearchable. Just do your best with titles and descriptions and those that really want will find. Probably better than 90% of my best sales through all categories have required at least one nonstandard item specific to be found in search results. Just some searches are easier than others with popularity (which I guess I don’t always follow 😂). If nothing else, if someone finds something similar among your listings, they may look at all you have.

I agree, I buy a lot of items off of style alone. I'm sure they're not searchable brands, but searchable styles. I do fine with it. Great haul.
