I enjoy the art of creating a beautiful object from something you would not necessarily give a second look. Your creations are on another level, absolutely stunning.
You and Matt Jordan are the guys who made my quarantine days awesome. I hope you guys will continue to create more woodturning videos. A collab will also be nice. :)
The creation of something useful and beautiful out of otherwise useless and ugly things (chaos/randomness/entropy generally) is the meaning of life itself. That is why this is so satisfying to watch. We feel a deep sense of meaning while watching.
Do not burden yourself in a quest to make horse sense from your inquisitive prowess, lay down thy mind armour, withdraw thy state and induce the plinth of mindful relaxation. Plus the man's damn good at turning.
See, this is why I'm loving your station. Who else drives for what looks like an hour, mountain bikes for another just to cut out some roots by hand to bring back to the shop to make an original piece like this. Beautiful work my friend.
Well, you did it again. At first I though there was no hope for the piece and that it was too dangerous to work. The resin looks like pearl. The finish just made it all come to life. God has give a great gift. Good job.
Because the plastic and resin shavings will pollute the environment for millennia. Is the beauty of the finished product worth one animal choking to death on the waste?
Beautiful, how you picture the end result before starting is even more impressive to me. Every thumbs down is a jealous loser troll trying to make others as miserable as they are, ignore them, your work should be in an art gallery, keep turning maestro!
Or maybe they just didn't like the end result, thumbed down, and went about their day. Just saying, less than 10% of the voters disliked, that's really not significant at all.
Wow Andy, you went to a lot of trouble to collect that wood! It was enjoyable to see that at the start of the video. Kudos to you for carting all that back on your bike. Another gorgeous piece, by the way. I’ll keep lurking in your Etsy shop (when you reopen it). Might buy something one day. Probably will.
