- We need to stop illegal immigrants crossing the channel - as well as funding criminal gangs and skipping the queue in front of legal migrants, they're risking their lives (37 died last year).
This hasn't stopped lots of hypocritical, insulated celebs decrying the government's plans to stop the crossings:

Someone commented that the number of people seeking asylum in the UK is declining. This isn't true - the number of people granted asylum has steadily risen over the past decade to a high of 48,540 in 2021. So there hasn't been a steady decline - in fact the opposite has happened. Although admittedly this number is dwarfed by the numbers of people coming here as other forms of migrant (nearly a million visas were issued last year for people to live here, the highest ever). My dad entered the UK legally and applied for asylum here over 30 years ago through the proper channels. His application was approved after years of him working, paying taxes and abiding by British law. Which is how it should be. The fact that people more recently have been entering illegally, allowed to stay and given dominos pizza in 4 star hotels annoys me more because of my background.
My Mum is from Ireland, I voted for Brexit and she is stil here.

Wife of a friend of mine is from Australia. Despite being from a commonwealth country, inside the "Five Eyes", an Anglophone, with a job in the UK, and two children born in the UK, she still had to take the Citizenship test to stay.
I'm glad that known terrorists, on MI5 watch lists, are allowed to stay without that nonsense.
I was fucked over by an employer a few years ago, I had to sign on for a couple of months. Despite being a law-abiding tax payer, and, for what it's worth, a forces veteran, I received less financial support than I would have had I entered the country illegally, from a country we are at war with.
Awesome.
The whole subject makes a mockery of any notion that we have a recognised system of law.

Yeah, fair play to you and your family, all we ask is for people to integrate, generate / contribute and not try to kill us for having a different religion or set of cultural norms.
My family had to flee France (Huguenot) from the communist French revolution, we ended up in Ireland, from a position of absolute poverty and suffering under the British we built our selves back up, eventually becoming renouned artists and stone masons contributing to the history and culture of Southern Ireland. So I can understand genuine refugees issues in some way.
What we need to stop happening is the mass immigration of people who already have safe places to live, despite how awful France is, its not exactly a war torn country of civil oppression as it was just after its revolution.
Those cops at Prince Charles's residence seemed really cool. I mean, they weren't in rainbow uniforms so they're obviously perpetuating genocide against transpeople but still, seemed friendly enough.

Why aren’t these over-opinionated ‘celebs’ fighting for the rights of our veterans who have been discarded by the gov and have to live on the streets? Good luck to you. We had a similar argument here in Australia about 10 years ago now. Sanity won, but only after over 1000 people died at sea.
I do have to say that I loved the reactions of the guards, they managed to be both professional but friendly at the same time.
i remember after the Vietnam war many Vietnamese who were on our side came to Australia. One minute there was none, next 1000's upon 1000's but here's the thing, they came here worked their guts out, didn't call us all racists, didn't try and inflict their religious beliefs on us, in fact you'd never know they were here if you didn't see them. And that right there is why there was never any hassles between them and the rest of us.Then a certain religion came and before long they were pushing their special kind of superstition with violence, threats of violence etc. this is why you must be discriminate between migrants because as we know some are useless and dangerous

All immigration legal or otherwise has not made my life any better.. my life and values are 1000 time worse than ever, can't afford food or car, medications, any luxuriez, holidays, days out or savings let alone a home ...and continuous preference of treatment of immigrants over indigenous people who have shed blood and tears for decades should have led to a revolution.

The illegal immigrants from Africa have nothing in common with British and European culture and way of life. However, they do have the same culture and way of life as Rwanda so it makes sense they should be resettled there, or other African countries. The same can be said for those from the Middle East being resettled in other Middle Eastern countries. They claim they want to be safe...well Rwanda is safe, unless of course they are just lying and actually want a free handout at the expense of the taxpayer.
West africans and east africans have very little in common they're bantu in the west/cental/south we are nilotic in the east, we dont even look alike, its like saying russians and the british are the same.

Britain needs a patriotic multi-millionaire that can buy multiple room residences neighbouring these immigrant supporting celebs/politicians, and offer them to serco for housing illegals.
Won't take long for them to complain to councils and petition for their removal.
And the purchaser wouldn't be out of pocket as those, like serco, that "hire" the accommodation pay for property management and rectifying damages.
Look up Operation Cerrar, something which must not be spoken of in Scotland, they even brought in new H8SPCH laws to enforce this.

If migration is so good why do we have historic levels of pressure on housing, the God that is the NHS, benefit payments, grooming (in certain ethnic areas) etc.? I'd be very interested to find out what proportion of legal immigration came from a certain branch of "Alan's Snack Bar" frequenters.
