- We're happy to present MARVEL SNAP's latest developer update but instead of our usual approach, we wanted to mix things up all while keeping things chill. For our November season, you can look forward to new cards like Ms. Marvel, Gladiator, Annihilus, and Martyr! We're also adding 22 brand new Peach Momoko variants (Shop Takeover anyone?), and bringing back Drops on Twitch. What are you waiting for? It's time to reach for the stars!

New Cards
Ms. Marvel
🔵 Cost: 4
🔶 Power: 5
🔹 Ongoing: Adjacent locations where your cards have unique Costs have +5 Power.
Gladiator
🔵 Cost: 3
🔶 Power: 7
🔹 On Reveal: Add a card from your opponent's deck to their side of this location. If it has less
Annihilus
🔵 Cost: 5
🔶 Power: 7
🔹 On Reveal: Your cards with 0 or less Power switch sides. Destroy those that can't.
Martyr
🔵 Cost: 1
🔶 Power: 4
🔹 At the end of the game, move to a location that LOSES you the game. (if possible)

🔹 After you play a card here, add a Djinn to your hand.

🔹 After you play a card here, transform it into another card of the same Cost.

I don’t miss him. He always comes off as weird and not in an endearing way.
Yeah and the theme is higher further faster but it’s all like super laid back music and slowly introducing the new cards. Does feel off.

Recently got back to marvel snap to see if they made it easier to get cards they didn't i keep getting variants pixel and getting like 100 tokens i can never catch up to play decks that i wanna try please make it easier to get tokens like 500 not 100 plz i love this game just want to play cards that i can try before they get nerfed
Tokens isn’t the main way to get cards now. Its through special caches. Upgrade cards and for every 10 cache box you get a special one that gives you a chance to get a new card. Recommended to save a minimum of 4 to guarantee the card you really want.

@@AN1M3G4M3R The Spotlight caches have 3 set cards each week and 1 random S4/S5; when you open you get one of those 4 cards. So it's recommended to save up 4 Spotlights to guarantee you get the one (or more) you want. If you already own one of the 3 set cards, you'll get an exclusive variant of that card that is only available in those Spotlight caches. If you open the random S4/S5 and already own it you'll get 1000 collector tokens instead. The weekly 3 set cards are scheduled a month or two in advance, and if you look in the right places you can find them far far in advance so you can plan what to save for. Hope this helps!

I watch these for Ben Brode’s energy. Is there some issues happening at SD? First the Mobius fiasco and now no Ben Brode in an update video? Starting to have me worried 😧
I like lofi but i feel like this was a step back from the past update videos, i think it wouldve been sick to see ben brode himself recreate the lofi girl vibe

I'm guessing the idea is to get it to switch to the opponent's side. Throw Martyr down turn 1, then Viper turn 2. Or let her sit through Turn 3 on Oscorp Tower.

@The2ndQuest that's just so niche. Not worth wasting turns on that when you can just viper the void or hood
@@drewfinn5369 Perhaps! It's just another griefing tool, but it is one that can move (and can't get Odin'd back at you, unlike a Goblin). Maybe combine them- Martyr, then Viper, then Beast to get Viper back in hand, then Sentry and Viper the Void.
Not sure what you'd build on your side of the table in the meantime, but just spitballing.

@@drewfinn5369 She's not going to drive the meta, but just seems like a use case balance option. Ebony has more power but doesn't move, she auto-moves but has less power. Seems reasonable even if she's unlikely to be a top choice at the moment.

Church of the Holy Snap parishioners need not respond...when will Second Dinner make this game enjoyable for everyone? Losing as frequently as I do has played a big role in my ceasing to financially support the game. Why should I pay for the privilege of losing ? When will there be a game play option that is not irritating? I started out today at Lv 78 and am down to 69.
Really phoned it in on this season. Crappy art, mediocre new cards, late and boring update....is it time for next season yet?
