Is there nothing this great man can't do? I remember seeing him in Bristol, UK, in the 80's with Dizzy and the United Nations All-Star Band. Especially when Arturo was playing some beautiful classical piccolo trumpet work in a cadenza section and Dizzy approached Arturo with his normal trumpet (Bb I guess?) on a cushion, almost like Dizzy was passing on the mantle as a jazz trumpet supremo to Arturo. It was as very magical gig and to say I saw both of these masters on the same stage, will stay with me forever.
