Wow. Performances like this show you why Band-Maid songs need to be experienced live. So much clearer and more electrifying than the recorded version. Everyone was stellar, and Saiki--omg, she absolutely nailed this.
Yea no kidding lol. To have that many changes in your lineup & still give that kind of performance, wow! Let's give these ladies a proper arena tour next time. They earned this one!! 🤘🦊💕
I couldn't agree more! Someone wrote they have played 32 songs so far...Unbelievable! This shows how hard-working they are to entertain their fans in each venue. I guess they might have changed their setlist after meeting Tony Visconti and put this tune in the list.
My wife and I WERE AT THIS SHOW ... about 20 feet behind and to the right of the guy filming this ... of course, my wife being barely 5 feet tall couldn't see anything but the leather jacket of the guy in front of her ... she promptly informed me that next time I am to buy the VIP package so that she can stand at the balcony rail and see the show ... which was FANTASTIC btw!
I've seen AC/DC, Rush, Aerosmith, Ozzy, Yes, Roth, Hagar, Kiss, just about every Rock band in the seventies and eighties. I pretty much quit music during the nineties. I still go see shows with my wife, but the magic was gone. Sucked into compartmentalized, commercialized money-making genres. Seeing Band Maid last week was the best show, most fun I've had since those days. When Baby Metal tours I will fly to wherever they play. If it's a midlife crisis, Bring It On !
@@michaelthain4488 I'm right there with you on that one Michael. Bert: I agree whole heartedly with everything you said, & have gone through exactly the same scenario.
I'm surprised they don't play this one more, especially since it is an all English song. It rocks, and it doesn't sound like anything else in their playlist. Lucky NYC!
Nice tribute to Tony Visconti. The Maids never forget the people who have helped them in their career. (Except their first producer).😁. Thank you Ron for this great video.
@@marloforreal If you want to know, watch Band-Maid Nippon 18 on YT (it's translated into English) and you'll understand. Miku and Saiki will explain it to you better than me. All Maidiacs know this real story.
WOW, what a surprise! Is Tony crying while watching them live again after 3 years? It's been amazing to see the subtle changes of setlist throughout this tour. We need to see "I'll" and "Balance" in Chicago, go maids!
Wow, awesome! In my memory, I think that "Dragon Cries" has only been played at 2020 Line Cube Shibuya so far, but I think they were each other happy to be able to play in front of Tony Visconti. And, Line Cube Shibuya was a very memorable concert for me, and I am very jealous that this New York concert was also a great one.
@@estherbrowne2017 Yes! Starting with "Rinne", followed by "Blooming" and ending with "Endless Story", the live performance at Line Cube Shibuya was truly great!
Most of the concerts weren't recorded, but they performed 'The Dragon Cries' in Japan six times in 2019 and five times in 2020, including the two Line Cube Shibuya shows.
@@rickwagner- Oh, thanks for the detailed info! As expected of Maidiac, Great!👍 Come to think of it, I was planning to go to a concert in Yokohama in 2019, but it's a painful memory that I couldn't go because I was hospitalized due to a motorcycle accident.😭
OMG! I needed this. Thank you soooo much Ron. If Tony was not crying during this performance, I WILL CRY FOR HIM!!! This recording sounded amazing -- which means that this was overwhelmingly awesome live! I should have flown to New York... 😑
Was there last night on the balcony near the mixing board. Absolutely the best concert I have ever been to by far. A dream would be to have Nemophila open for Band Maid. 😍❤️🇨🇦
People who never experienced them live often don't believe me when I say that the one Band Maid concert I was privileged to be at ranks amongst the top 5 of all concerts I've been to in 35 or so years of concert going. The sheer joy of performing and the energy on stage, coupled with their obvious musical talent, all the between-sets antics and of course the impeccable discography is really unmatched.
3:50 starting around there vocals so delish this is what you get when a band "former" vocalist commit guitar it's hard to be on point in harmony while playing sick riffs and live you need focus and control the adrenaline... i just can't imagine myself doing that. bad english, sorry. and thank you for the videos.

Nice tribute to Tony Visconti who was there. Brilliant
この曲を披露したのは会場にいるトニー・ヴィスコンティに敬意を示したからかな。
めったにセトリに入らない曲だからこの場にいたご主人様達はラッキーだったね。
This song slaps without the compression! Awesome!
What a bass player!!!!!!
They have become my favorite band. Everything they do is satisfying. I find myself always coming back for more. Just an amazing band!
The Maids must have rehearsed a lot of songs to prepare for this tour....they've really been changing it up along the way

Probably the Maid’s most underrated song but it ducking 🖕🦆 Rocks. 😎🤘🇨🇦🤘
My first band-maid song..!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The song that made me fall in love with them ❤️❤️❤️

"Tell me why-y-y-y, too many teardrops. Visconti Cries!!"

Saiki is so much joy, her talent as lead singer is unmatched !
Oh damn,…NY got The Dragon Cries too?!!! I’m just going to have to follow them to every show next time.

Ron! We are never disappointed in you!!!!!
Great song live. And Kanami’s solo is sooo good in this song
I love this song, Tony-san is happy too.

Tony may have NOT cried -- therefore -- I WILL CRY FOR HIM!!!
Miku with that little lead run at 3:27 after Kanami’s solo 😘
What a treat! David Bowie would've absolutely loved this band. And probably Hendrix too. Thanks for the awesome videos!
This is the revival of hard rock. Singing and playing is perfect. thanks for the great video.
The dragon cries sounds very good live!! Thanks for sharing!
Wow Tony Visconti, who was there, would definitely be proud of this performance xD
