I like that Michael kind of just assumes she was in the Olympics AND then NEVER fucking asks her about it. He's so narcissistic he isn't even interested in his GF's experience of participating in the Olympics.
michael comes off as the straight man during the first watch because that’s how everyone else treats him, but the more i watched the more i saw that he’s pretty much as narcissistic and self-indulgent as the other characters. he just has some common sense, which seems to be lacking in his family otherwise hahahha

Building land on the ocean *is* foolish, impractical, and bound to create serious problems... Suggesting such action really doesn't automatically indicate stupidity, though; creating new land is logical in theory.
