Kiuas was and still is one of the most interesting and original metal bands from Finland. They've got a very diverse style, so you should definitely check out more of their music. Man, I didn't even realize Mikko was in Metal De Facto. How did I not see or hear that? Anyway... I'm glad you enjoyed the sound of the sauna oven. There's a plethora of strong material on offer, even though they split up after just 4 albums. Other songs to consider might be And The North Star Cried, Race With The Falcons, Winter's Sting and pretty much anything from The New Dark Age, especially Conqueror since it comes with an official video attached. Good catch on the folk influence. I never thought of it that way, but I guess with the lyrics it makes perfect sense. That's one more influence to add to the already long list.

Superb song, always gives me the chills. Still remember the first time I heard this in 2004 from the Winter in June EP. You should react also to Daimonic, a new band from Mikko Salovaara which is similar in style as Kiuas.
The second i saw that you made a reaction to this song i started my headphones to listen to this great song with you guys!. The intro is incredible, the growl in the beginning confused me a bit the first time i listened to this song, i expected growl throughout the whole song. This gets 9 out of 10🤘’s. Kiuas' final album was different, but awesome. A couple of calmer songs, but they are also really well made. Such a shame the band finished at such an early stage. The music still lives on though. And Mikko Salovaara is creating something interesting always.
Usually Power Metal genre is bit too clean & lack of balls (for my taste). However this song is more like balls on fire! Both thumbs and *SENSORED* up 🔥🤘🔥

There is not a single bad song that Kiuas has made, fenomenal band.
