FIY you have two step not anti lag. Anti Lag has a valve that feeds fresh air into the compressor housing to ignite the extra fuel in the exhaust housing to keep spining the turbo. Two step cuts timing to give you a similar effect but is not as effective and much more limited.
My 500hp Subaru build ripped apart the front ring and piñon and 5th gear on the 5 speed transmission since the PAR gear set only replaced 1st-4th. The rear axles held up, but it wasn't going anywhere with a big leaking hole in the transmission.

I got 283K miles on my first motor (getting ready to put in the new one). As they say you can have horsepower OR mileage - not both, so Sally the Saturn lives on - - all 101 hp LOL
Emelia do you plan on modding your EJ207 further? Seems like a fatter power band with the new engine. I think you should go single turbo to make it less complicated, more room, and less heat.(I think there would be less heat with one turbo). FMIC, up/down pipe, and some cams. You'd have an even more enjoyable EJ207.
Huge gains to be had with a better downpipe even if it has cats in it. If its anything like the one on my Subaru its probably got some gnarly restrictions around the wastegate.

Congrats! I got lucky with my ej207v7. It came off an s202. I did the complete everything. Motor + non-dccd 6spd + brembo. The whole n9ne!

All EJ motors are forged internals, cast pistons across the board. EJ207 is closed deck, that's why its the holy grail motor
