    It took me way too long to realize that this was for 4 hands

      If you ever see “primo” know it’s 4 hands

      @@Medtszkowskigood to know. I haven't listened to many piano duos.

    I’ve been looking for a duet to learn with my friend. This will not be it, neither of us are near this level. Very impressive!

      Hahah thanks! Actually I recorded a duet piece earlier this year called “Operetta without text” ruclips.net/video/6CbSrY7MLWg/видео.html
      Several of the movements are quite difficult, but there are a few that I’d place in the intermediate range. It’s also just really charming music. Thanks for watching and good luck finding a suitable duet!

      Have you tried Ravel’s Ma Mère l’Oye suite? He originally wrote them as a piano duet. Relatively easy but beautiful!

    Quedaría bueno para un cuarteto de guitarras eléctricas.

    Wonky notation and spacing

      Four-hand music of this period is printed with each player on opposite pages and the formatting doesn't usually match up (ie, the equivalent systems won't necessarily have the same bars). @pianocurio has done an excellent job of matching it all up!

    Very tiresome to listen to. It would have been better if it was twice as short. After 2 minutes, I want it to end!

      Whew, good thing I cut out the the part in the middle where it’s just a 21-voice fugue on Mozart’s cat duet

    Very good, thanks! But... missing pauses at 2:30?

    • @PianoCurio
      @PianoCurio  3 месяца назад +1

      It’s a four hands piece, so that’s where the secondo enters. I think I should make the two parts look more separate and perhaps label them in future videos, it looks confusing especially at such a fast tempo. Thanks!

      @@PianoCurio I mean, the performance lacks the pauses written in the score at 2:30!

      @@GiordanoBrunoFerrioh I see now, good catch! I was blinded by enthusiasm and working too quickly. Looks like I also skipped the same rests at 1:08.
